As south has continued to let north have the bogey man 19 states and Abuja in former northern region, whereas only 17 states in two former southern regions - all created by north, who says north can't hold the presidency as long as north wants?

Southern politicians siddon de look north.
Who said land mass can be used as reference point to say how many states can be created in regions that formed one country?

There should have been more states in the two southern regions, than in the one northern region.

Root or no root, during election time se/ss are voting the same party. You think they give a fvck about postions given to one of their politicians. You can keep deceiving yourself.

Who's even thinking about 100yrs from now?? The country is just 59yrs old and someone is already thinking about which ethnic group will remain in power instead of talking about initiatives we should achieve by then.

Too bad everything in Nigeria is about tribe and religion.

100 years.

Some northern politicians have forlorn hope that the northmaster- southslave marriage in Nigeria;

a marriage designed by northern military dictators through lopsided state creation and supervision of a 1999 Constitution which legitimizes a parasitic marriage - shall last to next 100 years.

It's only tribalist fools like Junaid Mohammed that will be saying something like that. They will end up ruling only their region of the country when Nigeria disintegrates.

The political building shouldn't be perserved permanently in the North.Either SW or SE ok SS.

SW have had their turn. Same for SS. After the North, it should be the turn of the SE. Unless some of you think that SE does not belong to Nigeria. In that case, the SE should leave the fragile union.

No Igbos know politics but done CARE much about it any more, learn the difference! if Igbos (elites, leaders, and common people) alike for once decided to merge together, form a common ideology... and decide to play politics to its logical conclusion, best believe no region will see our back. Remember we were the major pioneers of politics back in the first republic, before the Coup and war messed everything up for us and after that, we pretty much allowed the North to take over everything with the West playing second fiddlers as usual... we focused on commerce and generational wealth distribution than politics till date... will 2023 mark the Igbo man's resurgence in politics? Well it remains to be seen... but one thing is for sure, a lot of people (won't mention them) who feel so certain the Igbos will lose out easily in 4 years time, will emerge with bloody noses.

Your statement attests to the fact that Igbos doesn't know politics. Cos if they do, they'd unite (merge together). But as long as a certain fraction is agitating for exclusion and another is screaming for a share on the driving seat, no one (not even fellow Igbos) would take them seriously. I agree though, that a certain group of people will emerge with bloody noses come 2023; a foolish set of individuals who think playing the houseboy role would lead to their promotion as sons. 2023 would humble them
