A white Tesla Model X SUV, driven by a seemingly Indian driver has been spotted driving on a bad road in Lagos.

The all electric mini SUV fitted with gull-wing rear doors, has a customized number plate, “AT 80” was pitied by the filmers for having have to pass through a bad road.

Remember that recently, Frank Edwards was driven in A N47million Tesla X in USA.

AshipaEk0, what is your argument? Is it that Lagos was mentioned or the roads are bad or no light?

Tesla Model X is an electric SUV and we wonder how the driver charges it in this country with very low availability of parts, Charging stations and poor power supply.

U people are exxergerating this whole charging thing. How many times do we have to say this, u don't need charging station to charge a Tesla. U can charge from he home. Now we even have 20 hrs supply of electricity in most areas in Lagos. This thing will charge from 0-80% of charger overnight just like we charge our phones. And anyone rich enough to buy this probably have Milano generators in their homes and offices, and one full charge will be enough to drive tnekighot the week within Lagos.

Since owner cannot bring his own road.... Even if the road is waterlogged, it's a choice of driving into it or park and walk.

Or park and use his other car. U don't expect someone that owns this to have only 1 car.

How do u charge ur phones and laptops. So u think someone that brings this in doesn't know he has to charge it? Many people think u need charging station to charge electric cars but they are wrong. Charging stations are for super fast charging. The car can be charged innur home by simply plugging it in, just that it would take more time. Charging this car overnight with our 220v will almost give u a full charge. So what's the big deal? And a full charge is enough to drive around Lagos for like a week depending on the commute.

And you think we don't know that you can charge it at home. What if it for some reason, you drive past the range and batteries run low?

U are still making a meal out of nothing bro. A fully charged model x has a range of around 523km. That is enough to take u from Lagos to onitsha. So why would an owner of this kind of car drive when battery is low? Do rich people drive their car low fuel? Any person that can afford this can would know he needs to recharge whenever the battery is getting to around 20-30%. U have an on board computer and gps which would let u know if the car can take u to ur selected destination.

Trust me charging is the least of the challenges this car would encounter in this country. There's a mobile charger that comes with the car that can be used anywhere and can give u about 52 miles of range per hour of charging. So if worst comes to worst and u are running low, get into an hotel, take a short rest while u charge ur car. This thing is not as difficult as u are making it look like. And if village people are following u, tow the car to where u have access to electricity and charge. Haba shey gasoline cars no dey break down for road and owners have to tow? So kini big deal? If u are driving a Tesla model x as ur only car in niigeria then u have problem upstairs anyway. If u drive this car until the battery dies on u then u have problem. It's like someone traveling from kano to Lagos in a public transport and needs his phone to call the person he's going to meet in Lagos when he arrives, and then uses the same phone to play Temple run inside the bus with his battery at 10% with no means to charge.
