The odds seem to be against you
Why this society, why this Family?
With these hardships?
Why this mother?



I know mother loves me
I know she cares about me
She has to, she just has To!



But Why is she the way she is
Well it is what it is
She is a warrior too, a fighter
I know what she has been through and what she's going through
It is not easy for mother,
So I must show great understanding and insight
My job may be bigger than me,
But I must rise to it anyways
Delinquency must rise and go
The enjoyment of youth be sacrificed for now
My dear compatriots, we will not be going merying as often as we would like to



Let my hands and body work
My mind Sound and Alert
My heart aright
And if the sun should shine, I will make hay.



Mama and Juniors let us enjoy the journey
Because the journey is the story
Let us enjoy the journey to a better tomorrow.
A happy son makes his mother happy
And a happy mother makes a happy Son
Let my younger ones see and learn
A happy family can be ours,
