Why are you people so insistent on pinning everything that happens on this Daura episode? I believe Osinbajo would not have acted unilaterally anyway. He would have consulted Buhari because virtually all of us have access to a vast array of communication tools from email to phone call.

To this matter at hand, Buhari had no need to hand over and he did not. The legislative arm , the reason some of us wanted Lawan and Gbajabiamila to win, did a sterling job to sign off on this bill and pass it on to the executive arm. I think they caught PMB by surprise as he did not expect them to seek his signature so soon. As Osinbajo cannot sign the bill , since only the President or acting President can sign on behalf of the executive, then the only two possible options are to wait two weeks till PMB returns or take the bill to him in London to sign.

PMB as Petroleum Minister may have asked for the bill to be brought to him so he can sign it and expedite its passage into law without a day wasted. What is wrong with that and why do you guys have to craft conspiracy theories around something simple logic accounts for? This is a man in his second term who may be in a hurry to leave a good legacy and may therefore feel there is no second or minute to waste.
