The reports on the sack of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo's aides have again been described as false


- The latest reaction came from the national publicity secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lanre Issa-Onilu
- Issa-Onilu on Thursday, November 7, said that the reports were nothing but mere unfounded fabrication of the media

The viral report that the presidency recently sacked about 35 aides of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo has been denied by the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu, APC's national spokesperson, refuting the news on Thursday, November 7, referred to the report as a fabrication of the media, and challenged those who are propelling the story to provide the names of the allegedly sacked aides, New Telegraph reports.
Issa-Onilu said: “The media or anybody alleging the sack of the vice president’s aides should mention one name of those sacked.”

The office, through its director of press, Willie Bassey, said that such action did not take place. Bassey said he was not aware of any sack of the vice president's aides as had been reported.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had reported that there was a claim that President Muhammadu Buhari approved the sack of at least 35 out of over 80 aides in the office of Osinbajo .
The report also claimed that the affected aides, who were issued appointment letters in August 2019, included some senior special assistants, special assistants, personal assistants and technical assistants.

“I am not aware. People have been calling me to ask. Nobody has informed me of any such development," the director said.

Those claiming the president sacked 35 people should give us the names of those sacked.

Why I will not believe this APC spokesman is that they hardly accept anything even when the truth is staring at them. They can deny and counter-deny and issue a rejoinder and until Lai Mohammed will technically and diplomatically whittle down the matter, while we are still on it another controversy would emanate from the presidency to make us forget the former, and the cycle continues .

Maybe you should help and expose the truth since it's starring at your face. Just one single name of those sacked, the fake news careers could not mention, instead of you to detest and shame them, you started calling APC. What manner of a human being are you?

Why will it be APC supporter that will confirm the names to you? If you are reasonable enough, you should direct such enquiry to those that fed you with the news.
