The way forward is next time people should call a spade a spade, not a farm tool, and am so sure confused entities like you were among those that enthroned this disaster, and planning to enthroned another disaster in 2023, shame on you all.

Falana is an alarmist idiot.

How can third term be possible with term limits?

Or is the national assembly presumed to alter the Constitution?

Also, journalists are maintained by their private employers. How does the lack of working tools and good pay equate to PMB stifling the press?

Tomorrow, if they have the chance the SAME thing will happen. They will connive with the north to remove a Southern President once that Southern President isn’t Yoruba.

It wasn’t a mistake, Bro.
It was an intentional design. Same thing that happened across most States that were colonised. The reason for the Rwanda Genocide. The most economically and educationally backward will be handed the reigns of power because of their subservience to the colonialists. They will in turn oppress the others in the country.

WAT IS THE DIFFERNCE BETWEEN YORUBA AND HAUSA?

THEY ARE BOTH FULANI SLAVE, WHOSE LAND WERE CONQUERED BY FULANI FOREIGNERS.

THE EMIR IN ILLORIN COMES TO MIND.

SO FULANI WILL CONTINUE TO USE BOTH SLAVES TO REMAIN RELEVANT IN NIGERIA.

FULANI THAT ARE NOT EVEN FROM NIGERIA.

clarocuzioo:
First of all, Falana, Sowore, Soyinka, Obasanjo, Atiku, Saraki, Tambuwal, Dogara, Dino Melaye should all tender an unreserved apology to the Nigerian populace for bringing in this disaster in 2015.

No need for apology.
Those who voted against GEJ did this country a great service; he was taking the country to hell. I know it is easy because of the Pharaoh presently ruling us to forget what Nigeria was like at the time of GEJ. The fact remains that GEJ had to go. Period. And unfortunately for Nigeria Pharaoh was the only decent candidate with enough factors behind him to send GEJ packing. What you failed to mention is the fact that many of the people that later turned against GEJ had tirelessly fought for him when the cabal wanted to eat him up whole.
At the beginning, GEJ had the goodwill of Nigerians, and he latter lost it.
And as difficult as it is to accept, Pharaoh too had the good will of Nigerians at the start, and he has lost it too.
How did we as Nigerians try to respond to our Pharaoh, we went out shopping for someone to send him packing and Atiku was the only one with enough factors behind him to achieve that. Yes, Atiku. Atiku of all people. What did we start to do, we immediately forgot the dangers embedded in the genetic code of Atiku and we started singing his positive aspects. The same thing we did for GEJ that brought him into power. The same thing we did for Pharaoh that brought him to power. The same thing we wanted to do with Atiku... If Atiku had won and had become the president, it would have been a surprise if the story would be different for Nigeria and for Nigerians. The suffering and poverty would simply continue. People like Dangote and the superrich would keep getting richer still. The purse of the nation would change from the hands of APC to PDP. Boko Haram would continue unabated because it is a home-grown and home-sponsored political expediency.

These career politicians and political jobbers like GEJ, Pharaoh, Atiku, and Dangote are the least of our problems. Yes I mention Dangote in the least because he is one of the persons driving policies in this country. Is it a coincidence that the borders are closed to disallow the influx of rice when at the same time Dangote is massively springing up dozens of rice mills across the country? The government is directly creating another monopoly for Dangote, just like the cement. Of course this is an economic monopoly reserved for the top 1 person in the country who can afford it. It is not a coincidence that that one person is again Dangote. Yes, jobs are created and all, but have the past jobs created by Dangote groups elevated the general living conditions and life expectancy in the country?

As I was saying, we Nigerians are the problem. We forget so quickly the ugly lessons each political dispensation teaches. In stupi.d and brutis.h desperation we rush out to seek a replacement. Any replacement. No matter how bad that replacement is, we immediately overlook his past misdeeds and we cloth him with the public appearance of an angel. In essence we cloth wolves with sheepskin and then come back here to lament that our wolves don't behave like a sheep, instead they are having us for breakfast. We refuse to learn as a country. As a people.

Until we start to shop for quality leaders patiently and methodically there will be no hope for political leadership in this country.
Until we start electing to offices those who have nothing to lose in a misgoverned nation, our woes will continue.
Until we start shopping track record of good, exemplary and democratic qualities, we will never see real progress as a country.

Until we start looking beyond ethnic partitions, we will remain a third world country. I am a Yoruba man but that shouldn't prevent me from accepting that Tinubu and Osibanjo and their cronies are bad examples of leadership and should never lead this country. If my quality of life and liberty as a citizen of Nigeria is improved and secured by an Igbo President, or an Ijaw President or an Hausa President, why should it be difficult for me to go all out to ensure these individuals get to the respected office of power?

How is it exactly working for us, this ethnic sentiments driving everything? From university admission, to national football team, to political appointments. We are simply worse off.
