Why must there always be a white skinned person in all these achievements?
That is the reason why SA seems developed.

I don't understand. I don't know Sierra Craft but V-craft, as I know it, is not a manufacturing firm but rather a major distributor representing multiple foreign companies. They also have highly skilled and specialised experts for maintenance services. Have they gotten the licence to manufacture too?

Go and Read Adichie's 'Americanah'.

Its a tactic by local businessmen to look convincing and legit.meanwhile the whitey knows nothing About the company he is representing.

As long as they are owned by Yoruba's
So two Yoruba owned companies are producing boats in Lagos
Including proforce, that makes it three Yoruba companies producing boats
As well as the largest wire and cable company in west Africa is owned by a Yoruba man,Coleman wire and cables

This is nice

VERY VITAL INFORMATION

We the youth of today are found of putting password/patterns on our phones which makes it difficult for someone to access it in case of unfortunate things like phone loss, sickness, accident or even death. But with these few knowledge I'm going to share, perhaps we can save ourselves n the lives of others also.

STEP 1
When your phone is locked, it normally shows enter password, under it you will see emergency. Click on the emergency, then you will see emergency information. Click on the emergency information *(2 times)*. You will see a pencil icon on your extreme right, click on it to edit.

STEP 2
Then enter the contacts you want to save as emergency. You can put as many as possible you want but we advice you save numbers of active people who know you very well. (Family/friend).
Now these contacts you have saved can be called even when your phone is locked without entering your password.

NB
To call a number under emergency, you must repeat the process above.
Share to save a soul. Thank you for reading.
Good evening

INNOSON is a Chinese product assembled in Anambra state. So what is wrong with a quality product like Yamaha with many decades of experience in building boat engines. Almost 85 to 90 percent of commercial boat engines in this country is Yamaha product

I believe the government can do better and make enabling environment for the masses, a landing pier at iyanoworo with a massive car park that can hold 5000 cars built in steps would go a long way in reducing traffic on 3rd mainland bridge in the morning.

People living in ikorodu can take a ferry from ikorodu to iyano woro, those from Berger or ogunstate can enter brt to iyanoworo and take a ferry to the island, the car park would make life easier for those coming from far, they park at the iyanoworo car park and take ferry to island or apapa.

A win win situation for government and citizens. Iyanoworo would be made like a ferry interchange just like oshodi since it is a central water way in Lagos. I hope the powers that be won't turn it into water front estate or luxury water front apartment.

so help us God

There is one already at Ilaje with a big car park, close to Oworo.... built by Ambode. Unless, of course, you are asking they build a new ferry station.

Terrible set of bigots in here, every Nigerian owns Nigeria, we should learn to respect others that have done it good, study their paths, patronize them to grow and we are there already. Not all these petty trash talks it does not get us anywhere

Lagos State government has assured local boat builders of patronage, not only to strengthen the economy but to enhance interest in water transportation and decongest the roads in line with the vision of making water transportation one of the best alternatives to road travel.

The Managing Director, Lagos State Ferry Services (LAGFERRY), Mr. Abdoulbaq Ladi-Balogun gave the assurance during an inspection tour of two major boat factories, V-Craft and Sierra Craft, in Lagos State on Monday.

He affirmed the government's commitment to efficient water transportation system, saying LAGFERRY has been mandated to identify and patronise local builders who have the capacity to build and adhere strictly to international standard practises.

“We want to build an eco-system and ensure everybody is carried along in achieving the multi-modal transportation initiative of the present administration to decongest the roads, so any manufacturer that meets our criteria will be patronised. We want to encourage local investors, particularly those that have an interest in water transportation to patronise the manufacturers of these boats”, he stated.

While disclosing the State government's intention to roll out commercial ferry services in the next couple of weeks, Ladi-Balogun assured Lagosians of a new experience in water transportation driven by the latest technology and built on safety, reliability, efficient services, comfort and value for money.

Responding, the Managing Director, Sierra Craft, Mr Olusegun Jaji expressed delight at the interest of the State government in developing local water transportation, especially with assurances to local builders that they would enjoy government patronage, expressing his delight at this administration’s commitment to improving and increasing water transportation.

He asserted his company's capability of producing and delivering world-class boats of international standard as required by the State government, maintaining that industry players are also ready to key into the vision of the present administration to improve water transportation as a means of decongesting the heavy traffic situation on Lagos roads.

As nice and welcoming as this development is, there is need for supporting agencies to be created, for instance if there is an accident, or a boat packs up midway, or a boat starts taking water, or an head on collision, how do we manage it? Secondly, proper sailing route needs to be created as a result of current differential, a few ⛵ have capsized as a result of this.

Their website quotes them as a water way regulatory body, it doesn't say anything about water way safety (coast guard, boat channel dredging and emergency management). If you have more information kindly share.
