It is not possible to jump out of a helicopter when it's about to crash else you get cut into halve by its rotor blades.
Brace for impact is the only way to survive.
More like Brace for Death

When you are bracing for impact the Pilot would try to crash land the bird sideways so it wouldn’t burst into two!

This is somewhat incorrect.

It's a bit more difficult than in a fixed wing but it's possible. Certainly there are skydive tours operating with helicopters.

No casualties as Nigerian Airfoce helicopter reportedly crash lands in Enugu State at the early hours of today, Just as it was about going down in flames there arrived Nigerian fire fighters who successfully put out the fire before it could engulf the helicopter.

It's not only possible but it's common.

Helicopters can take you into most areas that planes can't get into.

When you are bracing for impact the Pilot would try to crash land the bird sideways so it wouldn’t burst into two!

It's simply incorrect.

When you have an emergency, what you're trained to focus on is "flying the plane" not trying to land sideways.

A crash land is ideal when you land flat on a surface not sideways. Sideways means either the main rotor or wing hits the ground first which is worse.

I'm not surprised, cos Nigerian Air Force helicopter pilot training school is in enugu. One novice done buy job or maybe he didn't pass the flight simulator test and was allow real time flight due to godfatherism.

Oga, this is Nigeria. A lot of people knows how to appear and disappear. That's why he asked if the pilot disappeared.

What of the pilot

Did he disappear?

Good piloting. He found an open space and ny rotating the aircraft he avoided downward stall. Generally speaking NAF pilots are very good.

It is extremely risky with a misbehaving helio! Its movements are erratic unlike the cases you have mentioned of a stable helio with predictable headroom for the jump.

Have you been in a small airplane in a full stall?

I have been in a light airplane in a full uncontrollable stall but only in a helicopter that was practicing autorotation. Neither is graceful. I didn't even know I had shat my pants till later.

Why? Are you planning to stage a helicopter stall? Retreating blade or rotor?

You mentioned a downward stall so I was asking if there is any other type.

A stall is loss of aerodynamic lift and it ends in a downward path.

Yes. They can be hair raising. I can only imagine.

The point I was making is that in a helio jumping out could mean being caught by fuselage, main or back rotor blades. A fixed wing aircraft might be able to cruise using air currents that allow for a jump if it switches off engines and can keep the nose in the right position.

But in those moments...

D guy there said how is the pilot

You think say busstoo deh for 10 thousand feet up there?or he go quick wear paranchutenfor helicopter and jump out..it's not a jet...

You and that helicopter must enter ground. You can only try and slow the impact by staying in your musT and try to have a rough little Landing.

You must go down with it..
