BUSHHUNTER:
Africa football has changed, Egypt drew their match at home, Morocco drew at home, Cameroon drew at home also

Nigeria struggled to beat Benin republic.

The coach should shut up for now!

A few upsets here and there does not mean Rohr should shut up about his goal of winning the AFCON.

Upsets happen in football every now and then. Even France struggled to beat Moldova which is about 170 on the FIFA ranking. Benin and Kenya are even higher on the ranking. Yet, France with all their Griezmann, Mbappe, and all, had to come from behind to beat Moldova 2-1 in France. The same Moldova that they trashed in Moldova.

Mr Rohr we dont expect less. It's so bad that other local coaches have been failing and you're the only one with your team still able to put smiles on our faces. Win the nations cup and Nigerians wont forget you like we haven't forgotten Keshi.

Exactly my thought, absolutely correct ! Just like Nigeria itself,a lot are wrong with our local coaches. Immediately the expatriate coach of Super Falcons,Thomas Dennerby left the team, the local man could not even win the next match and failed to qualify them for a major tournament.

Super Eagles are very solid now,all thanks to Rohr. Our local coaches have a lot to learn. I only have respect for the likes of Siasia but unfortunately, some people in NFF don't even want to see his face at all.

The title is misleading. He didn't promise. He wishes he can win it.

STFU! What talent do you have? Doyou have more talent than Senegal, Algeria, Egypt, CIV, or even the likes of Morocco, DR Congo, and Tunisia?
The stupid thing about Nigerians is that they think that only Nigeria has "talent"? And where were all those talents when Nigeria failed to qualify for two consecutive AFCONS before Rohr came in to bring cohesion and organization to the team?

And by the way, with all our so called talents, we still couldn't qualify for the Olympic games. And couldn't do anything in the home-based AFCON either! Abeg, mek I hear word about your talents, my friend shocked

Without it you'd be deemed a failure. Can't remember when last we had so much young talents scattered all over the place.

and a long list of others nothing less is expected.

Your greatest undoing Will be still hanging on to

Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr has stated that his goal with the Nigerian national football team is to win the upcoming African Nations Cup in 2021, Praizenews report.

Rohr, who guided the Super Eagles to victory against Benin on Wednesday is out of contract in June 2020 but says his plan is to lead Nigeria to the summit of the African tournament rather than just qualify for it.

Nigeria face Lesotho in it's second match of AFCON 2021 qualifying this weekend and hope to make it a second win during this international football window.

The Franco-German coach who once played for Bayern Munich led Nigeria to a second-round exit in the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia and a third-place finish in the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year.

Speaking on his future plans, Rohr said;

Reminiscing on the Super Eagles win over Benin, Rohr said to reporters; “The Super Eagles had a lot of scoring opportunities, but they failed to convert all of them.”
