Nigerians have expressed mixed reactions on Twitter as they welcomed Power hit series actor, Rotimi, after he announced his arrival in Nigeria.

Rotimi is currently in the country where he would be having a pool party in Abuja.

While many were pleased at his arrival, some quarters couldn’t help but view him in light of the role he played in Power, the series which features 50 Cent.

Rotimi starred as Dre, a young single father with high hopes of becoming the greatest drug dealer New York has ever seen. This desire has seen him move from one drug camp to another with things turning out bad.

The rage thrown at him by Nigerian fans of the show is due to his snitching nature which became glaring in the last season of the show.

Now, that he’s in Nigeria, fans of the show have jokingly threatened him for being a snitch. Some are also asking to know if he brought some drugs to the country to sell.
