The IPOB meeting many o you attend is filling up dreams into your heads. Sorry to say this, but you guys don't do research or think for yourselves. You allow one uninformed man think for you. But still, I'll lecture you well.
When I say nobody will pick up arms, I used facts.

Igboland is not like the North East with large expanse of land and with borders with Chad, Niger and Cameroon. Boko Haram is thriving because they use guerilla tactics. They hit and when the army comes to that location, they disappear to border countries. The Air force finds it hard to strike because of the Sambisa forest that is very large with tall trees. The Sambisa forest alone can swallow the whole regiment of the army, navy, air force, police both with their equipment and yet they won't overcome Boko Haram. Also those boys don't value their lives. Suicide bombing tactics and other despicable fighting strategy is what they use to keep the military at bay. Human lives don't pitch them, and they don't mind killing everyone in their own villages to have their way.

Second, the Niger Delta militants made use of the creeks to overwhelm the army. They cone with their speed boats, hit and run back to the creeks. The could easily access the best weapons in the world from bunkering crude oil and sell it to white ships.

Now in the case of IPOB, the disadvantages out weight the advantages. Any insurgency in Igboland won't last up to a week before it fails flatly. One, before it happens our people will first hand over the trouble makers to the army. No one will ever want to witnesses another huge conflict in Igboland again. The Biafran war is the final conflict we will involve ourselves in.
Two, Ndigbo love peace and have invested heavily in the SE and in all parts of the country. We suffered to get back to our feet after the civil war, and we'll never allow a mad group destroy them overnight. We'll first kill them first by ourselves even before Government hears about it. The last confrontation you guys had with the SE Governor's should teach you a lesson? I hope you people won't call it betrayal again when we invite Army for Egwu Eke 111. Third, which hideout do IPOB intend to use? which large expanse of forest are you going to use for guerrilla warfare? You have no close borders with any country incase it becomes appropriate to run like Boko Haram. I hope you people are not thinking of the small forest in the SE that the army will level just in a matter of days.
Fourth, where will IPOB source weapons from? Because conflict is not a 1 or 2 years play. You'll need a constant inflow of weapons to be able to withstand the Nigerian military. I hope you people are not banking on the Ijaws or any other non-Igboid group to assist with their creeks? Because it's obvious Igboland is landlocked without the SS. And if you're hoping on the SS to align with you, then you'll have to think again. I trust those ones to chicken out and deny you the way Peter denied Jesus. It happened during the civil and will happen again if you people don't wake up from your dreams.
