The major NANS national presidential candidate in forthcoming 2020 convention and the former NANS Zone D coordinator, Com. Asefon Sunday calls on the men of DSS to obey the rule of law and grant bail to the leader of the Revolution Now in consonance with the court verdict, Com. Omoyele Sowore who is also an erstwhile Union president of Lagos State University, the publisher of Saharareporters and the presidential candidate of AAC during last General Election has not in anyway violate the law of the land that have required his illegal detention since August, 3rd 2019 till this present time.

Comrade Asefon made this statement on Sunday 17th of Nov. 2019 while addressing students in Ekiti State during the celebration of International Students Day and some lingering national issues affecting Nigerians at large.

As fundamental human-rights is rooted in our constitution so as well the principle of Check and Balances, however, no arms of government is superior to the other, we call on the Grand Commander of Forces, President Muhammadu Buhari to please as a matter of urgency save the face of this country from the perversive awkwardness by instructing the men of DSS to grant the release of Sowore.

"The Supremacy and predominate of law is over everybody, both the ruled and the rulers, I implore the men of DSS to safe our face as a nation by obeying the rule of law".
