I drive a 2002 toyota avensis. For weeks now..when i drive, it stalls. I mean sometimes it feels like it wants to go off while driving, then comes on again. Tho sometimes it goes off and starts again. What is wrong.

PLZ NOTE, whike stalling or trying to go off. It makes a ticking sound in the fuse box area unser the dash board. Which fuse or fuses are responsible for this?

Troubleshooting over here, won't get it sorted out. An electrician has to simulate that scenario, before diagnosis.

Since you asked what likely fuse(s), I'd suggests might be the ECU of IGN fuses. But I don't think its the fuses. It might be the clicking sounds of relays, or some of the electronic components under that area, that you hear, because they somehow are getting current supply, below their target values.


Another likelihood could be that the sounds you heard were coming from the fuselage at the engine side, and not the kick panel portion of the car.

Thank you bro. I had to go underneatg myself and i think i found the relay but after changing the relay. Still same thing. I am thinking of changing the fuel pump...see where that takes me but i will visit a specialist first. Like you said. Its one of the relays.

Pls don't throw parts have it diagnosed, it might be clogged fuel line, injectors, filter.
