Yes this is a constitutional matter which cannot be swept aside,it is clear as daylight.if evidence can be provided that apc didnt do primaries in zamfara, then even a child can prove this
You still don't get it. INEC does not calculate spread. once you get the highest votes, they believe you have met the spread. Moreover there is no definite formula for calculating such spread. You will be surprised how the Supreme Court will affirm the election. There is no definite formula for calculating such spread. Moreover the opponents defense in court was weak. He refused to hire a certified statistician to prove his point. As long as the courts are concerned, he is wasting their precious time

constitutional matter my foot! Remember the case of Awolowo against Shagari in the 1979 elections. Shagari never met the spread, but everyone witnessed the abracadabra done by the courts. INEC has no definite formula for calculating such spread. Once you have the highest votes, it is expected that you met all requirements

So a university lecturer on mathematics is not certified? If it can be proven that no primaries held in zamfara, then there's nothing hard in proving two third formula? You cannot say that inec does not calculate spread which is in the constitution but how come they calculate cancelled votes which is not in the constitution?

That is different.it was well argued in court plus there was 19 states as at then and shagari had 25% in 12 states and one can argue that out since 12 is close to 13.ihedioha had 25% in 13 which is far from 18.you cant argue it out.

The court refused to include his analysis in the judgement.

Shagari met no requirement. You are saying such because the judgement didn't favour you. Please go and prepare for Supreme Court. That's if you are lucky. Proving such is not as simple as you thought. These are the Lacuna in the constitution. As time goes on, they maybe changed. But believe me, this case is irredeemable. The defendants did prepare there defense well. Remember the returning officer that declared Ihedioha is a Prof.

Yes which is highly unfortunate and erroneous based on technicalities.if you are dismissing that of nwosu,on what grounds will you dismiss that of araraume and uzo

Shagari's lawyer richard akinjide dropped sound arguments.that a prof is a returning officer means nothing, mind you there still adhoc staff and not totally versed with inec statutes and are not above mistakes.not all profs in nigeria are as sound as you think.he is human afterall.mind you the collation process was interrupted severally by altercations and therefore he was in a hurry to leave.the supreme court fortunately will decide the case on its merits.
Once a matter borders on simple constitutional provisions, they discard all vestiges of preliminaries and technicalities and go straight to its merits.this is not a hearsay but a strong allegation which needs proving.ihedioha will go

Yes just like the Shagari case, where the court decreased Awolowo 's vote and increased Shagari 's votes. The judiciary stopped being the last hope for a common man, a long time ago
