chukzyfcbb: This makes a lot of sense. So much marketing going on with regards to estates around there. I keep wondering if it’s a safe/reasonable investment or not. |

I think provision should have been made for the fishermen somehow. Proper relocation to a place where they can still fish and live normal lives. Hope their children are going to school so they can benefit from scholarships, training and employment that may come as part of the compensation package or CSR by Dangote Refinery. |

The refinery is at an advanced stage thus no amount of cry out can stop it now giving all factors for. However, the people should engage key stakeholders in their community to start preparing for how to hold Dangote to account for environmental protection and payment of fair Taxes that they can leverage for alternative livelihood |
