The Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie OmoAgege led dignitaries to grace the burial ceremony of Late Mama Catherine Omebu Ogboru, the mother of APC gubernatorial flag-bearer in Delta State, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru at his Abraka countryside.


Fondly called Mama Abraka, Late Catherine Ogboru died at a ripe age of 103 leaving behind a lasting legacy, the senator said on a post shared on his verified social media page.



He wrote;



“Today I attended the Celebration of life for the mother of my brother and our leader, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru.

“Mama Catherine Omebu Ogboru, a.k.a Mama Abraka, lived to a very ripe age of 103 and left behind a lasting legacy.

“The event held at Abraka, hometown of our leader, Olorogun Great Ovedje Ogboru.

“Amongst dignitaries who accompanied me to the event were Hon. Francis Waive (HoR, Ughelli-North/Ughelli-South/Udu Federal Constituency), Chief Omeni Sobotie and several others.

“May mama’s soul rest in perfect peace.
