Another church queen bites the dust bish! It is much cheaper to just be yourself and accept who are you well minus engaging with inappropriate conversations with minors. Leave these lil boys alone!

Demarcus Smith was a Pastor at Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church out of Memphis, TN. The typical type of ‘silent sissy of the pew” is what I call them. They speak out against homosexuality while living in denial.

He was charged with one count of coercion and solicitation of a minor; one count of production of child pornography; and one count of receipt of child pornography.

Smith pled guilty to one count of receipt of child pornography.

Prosecutors say he used the Facebook Messenger app to send explicit photos and have explicit conversations. –wreg.com

You can always tell when somebody is guilty cause they start calling on the help of God when no one else is there for them.

Mighty funny he put this up on Facebook considering his messages to an underage boy was his downfall. It’s being reported that he was sending & receiving explicit photos to a minor. Now we don’t know if Demarcus knew the minor was underage cause the kids be out here lying. It’s a sad situation and just goes to show that you may not really know a person.

Let his lesson be a message to you if you’re fighting with your sexuality and in the church. Be yourself everybody is already taken. You should still be able to practice your faith while still remaining true to yourself.

Demarcus Smith was sentenced to 85 months in prison… 7 years basically.

Do you have a Demarcus at your church?

The Coronavirus is pedophilia and the virus of the flu strain doesnt discriminate neither does the demons of pedophilia. Editor's note: CNN's John Blake first covered Bishop Eddie Long as a religion reporter for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Atlanta, Georgia (CNN) -- As Bishop Eddie Long poked through a salad in his church office one summer day in 1999, he shot a weary look at a person ticking off his ministry's successes.

His Atlanta megachurch had already reached 25,000 members. He had been invited to the White House, built a global television ministry and drove around town in a luxury automobile.

But Long told the visitor who had come to write about him that the pressures of being a high-profile pastor could be brutal.

"You don't want any of this," he said in a raspy baritone as he shook his head. "You don't want any of this ..."

Video: Long: I'm not perfect, but I will fight

Video: Pastor facing sex claims

Video: Pastor preaches inclusion of gays

Video: Is gay marriage a civil rights issue?

Long didn't get more specific about those pressures.

Today, the 57-year-old minister, known for his public crusades against homosexuality, faces serious allegations.

On Tuesday, two young men who were members of Long's New Birth Missionary Baptist Church filed lawsuits claiming he used his position as their spiritual counselor to coerce them into sexual relationships.

The men -- Anthony Flagg, 21, and Maurice Robinson, 20 -- allege Longused a private spiritual ceremony to mark a "covenant" between them, with both becoming his "spiritual son."

Robinson, who claimed Long engaged in MouthAction with him, said the pastor would cite Scripture to justify their relationship.

See PDF of lawsuit filed by Maurice Robinson

Flagg alleges that Long then used that relationship to take him on overnight trips where they shared a bedroom and engaged in kissing, masturbation and "oral sexual contact."

On Wednesday, a third lawsuit was brought on behalf of Jamal Parris, 23, who like the others was a teenager when he joined Long's church. The suit names the church and Long's LongFellows Youth Academy as defendants, and it alleges that Long engaged in sexual acts with Parris, traveled with him, and gave him money, trips and gifts.

On Friday, Spencer LeGrande, 22, filed suit alleging that when he was 17, he had a sexual relationship with the pastor, went on a trip to Africa with Long, went on shopping sprees together and that Long provided Ambien to the young man.

"We categorically deny the allegations," Art Franklin, Long's spokesman, said in a written statement. "It is very unfortunate that someone has taken this course of action."

Franklin said "our law firm will be able to respond once attorneys have had an opportunity to review the lawsuit."

The men's lawyer, Brenda Joy (B.J.) Bernstein, would not make them available for comment.

Long's crusades against homosexuality

The allegations against Long run contrary to his public image.

He is a celebrity preacher in the black church world and a star in the evangelical world as well. His church is one of the largest in the country.

In the pulpit, Long seamlessly blends muscle and ministry.

He wears tight shirts that display his weight-lifter arms. He writes books such as "Gladiator, the Strength of a Man," that teach men how to be warriors for God. He says he has a special calling to reach out to men.

We categorically deny the allegations.
--Art Franklin, spokesman for Bishop Eddie Long

He's a married man who preaches about the sanctity of the union between a man and a woman. He denounces homosexuality. In 2004, he led a march in Atlanta against gay marriage. He once declared that his church had created a ministry that "delivered" people from homosexuality.

His public statements about gays and lesbians have helped reinforce homophobia in the black church, says Shayne Lee, a sociologist and author of "Holy Mavericks: Evangelical Innovators and the Spiritual Marketplace."

"The homophobic atmosphere he helped perpetuate," Lee said, could "come back to possibly harm him."

Long's controversial ministry

Long has been the center of public controversy before.

In 2005, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported that a charity Long created to help the poor and spread the Gospel had made him its biggest beneficiary.

An examination of the nonprofit's tax returns and other documents revealed that the charity provided him with at least a million dollars in salary over four years, and the use of a $1.4 million home and the $350,000 Bentley.

A frequent critic of black preachers (he once said they "major in storefront churches"wink, Long responded by saying he was a CEO of a global business who deserved his lifestyle.

The homophobic atmosphere he helped create could come back to possibly harm him.

"You've got to put me on a different scale than the little black preacher sitting over there that's supposed to be just getting by because the people are suffering," Long said, explaining the compensation he received from his charity.

In 2007, Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, of the Senate Finance Committee, sent a letter to Long asking detailed questions about his financial operations. Long was one of six televangelists whom Grassley targeted.

After an initial flurry of publicity following Grassley's request, the investigation appeared to peter out.

In recent years, Long seemed to become more humble, says the Rev. Tim McDonald, senior pastor of First Iconium Baptist Church in Atlanta.

In private talks, McDonald said, Long told him about the pressures of leading a megachurch. He said he no longer had as many close friendships and yearned to return to the more intimate relationships that McDonald seemed to have with his much smaller congregation.

"He said, 'Tim, I may have the numbers, but you have the love,' '' McDonald said.

God's 'scarred leader'

For all his outward confidence, Long also displayed a vulnerable side.

He built an intimate bond with many members of his church by talking about his private failings: his divorce from his first wife; being rejected by his father; and being fired from a job in corporate America.

He called himself God's "scarred leader."

He also became known for his generosity. He would give cars and money to strangers at church services. He built ministries to help the poor, AIDS patients and young people.

He talked proudly about his ability to reach young men. He called himself a "spiritual daddy" to many of the young men he mentored at New Birth.

He would pay the college tuition for some men, give business suits to others and play basketball and lift weights with his male ministers.

Once, he even boasted to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that some mothers at New Birth trusted him enough to bring their wayward teenage boys to him for paddling.

"When I say bend over, even on Sunday, they bend over," he said, referring to the boys he paddled. "Why? Because they respect me. Because I first died for them ..."

Flagg and Robinson, however, said he used their relationships to instruct them, as "spiritual sons," to follow their "master."

They also say Long enticed them "with cars, clothes, jewelry, and electronics." Robinson claims the pastor paid for his college tuition.

In Flagg's suit, he claimed that when some young men found girlfriends, Long would attempt to block those relationships by "increased contact and spiritual talk" about "the covenant between the Spiritual Son and himself."

In addition to Long, the lawsuits by Flagg and Robinson name as defendants his church and a youth academy where Long was pastor and mentor. Both suits seek unspecified punitive damages on counts ranging from negligence to breach of fiduciary duty.

Lee, the sociologist who has written about Long, says he expects him to mount a fierce counterattack.

"He'll demonize the accusers," Lee said, "and couch it in terms of how the enemy Satan is trying to hurt the ministry."

Here is the prime example of the two faced insidious nature of the Black pedophile in Bishop Eddie Long. This man preached against homosexuality while committing the worst offense of child rape. This down low hypocritical culture is common among Black degenerates. I used to live in San Francisco the White gay capital and never saw any hypocrisy among the White gays. Even the White Roman Catholic doesn't go on crusades against homosexuality they encourage acceptance. Another difference the Whites don't have a code of silence on pedophilia. The reason the White Male only is seen as a pedophile is because the Whites expose them. The Black Church however is the gayest place on Earth and the most hypocritical.

T.L Hutley speaks the truth that the Black church is the gayest place on Earth. He grew up in the church and knows first hand and I grew Mislim so I simply didn't know Black Christians were pedophiles.

Convicted paedophile Vincent Ryan confessed to a priest — then he continued abusing children

Vincent Ryan is a Catholic priest and a paedophile, convicted of sexually abusing more than 30 children. In Australia's first television interview with a convicted clerical sex abuser, Ryan said there was no reason why he should not remain a priest.

"It's a duty. I've committed myself to it," he said. "It'd have to be a very serious reason, unless I'm stopped by authority, for me to make that decision and at this moment I don't see it."

In the ABC's Revelation series, filmed on the eve of Ryan's 2019 criminal trial, the paedophile priest is seen performing mass in his home, wearing holy vestments and blessing the communion wine and bread.

Following his fourth conviction in March 2019 on charges of sexually abusing two boys in the Newcastle region in the 1970s and 1980s, Ryan, 81, is currently serving a prison sentence in NSW of three years and three months.

Survivors of Ryan's abuse have condemned the Church's failure to remove Ryan from the priesthood. Peter Dorn was a victim of Ryan's as a primary school boy in Maitland in the 1970s.

"How does the church want somebody like that? How did they say that's a person acting on behalf of God? They've got no decency, they've got no compassion," Dorn said. "They say they have acknowledged it, but if they still recognise him as a priest, you know that's disgraceful."

When Ryan was first arrested in 1995, the church withdrew his "faculties", meaning he was no longer able to perform religious duties in public, hear confession or call himself "father".

However, he remained a priest and can still say the Catholic mass in private.

The current bishop of Maitland-Newcastle, Bill Wright, told the ABC in August last year that he had written to the Vatican about Ryan's status.

"The full range of things that have come to light and considerations of the time, all of these things are as matters of fact in what I've sent to Rome," the Bishop said. "So they've been raised."

Bishop Wright confirmed on Sunday in a letter to parishioners that he had received no response from Pope Francis or the Vatican about Ryan.

Ryan questioned whether he would in any case accept a decision to remove him from the priesthood and no longer say mass.

"I will have a real quandary, because I will want to obey the church, but I will have a conscience problem. I don't know what I'll do," he said.

Penance was 'three Hail Marys and a decade of the Rosary'

Gerald McDonald is another of Ryan's victims. He was assaulted while an altar boy with Ryan in Merewether in the 1970s and said he felt by allowing Ryan to remain a priest, the church was "condoning a paedophile".

"It makes me sick … That's exactly what they're doing," he said.

Coming face to face with the Catholic Church's worst serial paedophiles

Sarah Ferguson talks about her toughest project yet — interviewing two of the Catholic Church's worst serial paedophiles in a ground-breaking documentary.

Ryan enjoyed the protection of the church in multiple ways during the decades of his offending against children, including taking advantage of the secrecy of confession. Ryan told the ABC that he confessed to a priest that he was sexually assaulting children,

"I don't know the exact words, but they would have been aware that I … that I had offended against children because … I can remember one priest saying, 'you'll go to jail if you don't stop this'," he said.

Ryan said he knew the priest would not break the seal of confession.

"How could he follow up the seal of confession? What can he do?" said Ryan, who claimed his penance was "three Hail Marys and a decade of the Rosary".

Ryan said he felt better having been given absolution for his sins by the priest. "Momentarily I felt free, yes," he said.

Bishop Wright said he believes the priest, from the Redemptorist Monastery in NSW, was correct to keep Ryan's confession secret.

"I'm afraid I'd have to say I believe he should have kept his confidence," Wright said.

'It's part of the sex abuse crisis'

The Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse recommended law reform to lift the protection of confessional privilege for reports of child sexual abuse.

All of Australia's states and territories have committed to following the recommendation.

Australia's Catholic Church leaders insist the sanctity of the seal of confession must be upheld even it means protecting priests who are breaking the law.

Ryan was sent to the Vatican to study at Propaganda College, along with a handpicked group of Australian seminarians that included George Pell.(Revelation/In Films)

Bishop Wright said: "Yes, I think the law is intruding into a place of personal conscience where it should not be."

Ryan was ordained as a priest in Rome by Pope Paul VI in St Peter's Basilica in 1966.

He was sent to the Vatican to study at Propaganda College, along with a handpicked group of Australian seminarians that included George Pell.

Ryan explained the effect of ordination:

"It meant you were set apart and you had this special mark on you. That was the theology of the church at that stage … If you were an ordained minister, of course you were more important than a married person."

Bishop Wright explained how that transformation created a damaging culture in some quarters of the church.

Ryan was ordained as a priest in Rome, by Pope Paul VI in St Peter's Basilica in 1966.(Revelation/In Films)

"Believing that membership of the in-group, the clergy specifically of course, confers a certain status and privilege … It becomes clericalism, I guess, when it's unanswerable and it allows people to stand on their status and get away with things that as human beings they shouldn't," Wright said.

"I think everyone agrees it's part of the sex abuse crisis."

Some Cardinals believe children sent to 'tempt' them

Ryan blames his immediate superiors in the Catholic Church for not monitoring him closely once they learnt in the early 1970s that he had abused children. He claims the church's priority was self-defence.

"The church still was in a fortress, defending itself against all these horrible [people] wanting to drag it down," said Ryan, who went on to abuse many more children in multiple parishes over two decades until he was caught.

Ryan blames his immediate superiors in the Catholic Church for not monitoring him closely once they learnt in the early 1970s that he had abused children.(Revelation/In Films)

When interviewed for Revelation, former president of Ireland Mary McAleese, a devout Catholic and qualified canon lawyer, said there were Cardinals who in her presence had blamed children for the crimes committed against them.

"What they're saying is these children, you know from the age of seven with the use of reason and the age of discretion, are capable of grave sin," she said.

"There is a belief that, yes, that the children have been used by the devil to tempt or seduce or to subvert the vocation of a man who was called by God."

When asked if he could be forgiven for his decades of abuse of children, Vincent Ryan has no doubt: "By God," he said. "Most certainly."

Louisiana priest convicted of molestation released on bond"

(Credit: Pixabay.)

OPELOUSAS, Louisiana — A former Louisiana priest convicted of molesting an altar boy was released from jail on bond over coronavirus safety concerns.

Michael Guidry, 77, was released Friday nearly a year after he pleaded guilty to molesting a 16-year old boy after giving him alcohol in Guidry’s home, The Advertiser reported. The victim said in a civil lawsuit that he woke up one day in 2015 after doing chores in Guidry’s home and found the former priest molesting him, The Advocate reported. The victim told authorities about the molestation when he was an adult, four years after it happened.

Guidry, who served as the priest of St. Peter’s Church in Morrow, was then sentenced to 10 years in prison in April 2019, KATC-TV reported.

His release on bond from St. Landry Parish jail comes amid objections from state prosecutors after his defense attorney, Jane Hogan, requested an emergency appeal hearing because of the virus outbreak. Guidry had been awaiting another sentencing hearing after a request to reconsider his 10-year sentence was denied by a judge in September, KATC-TV reported.

Kevin Bourgeois, a volunteer at a New Orleans nonprofit group for survivors of clergy abuse, told KATC-TV Guidry’s release on bond sends a message to survivors that “their life is not as important as this sex offender’s life.”

Judge Alonzo Harris, the same judge who sentenced Guidry last year, had set the bond for Guidry. During that sentencing, the judge said “there are some things in life you just can’t tolerate and one is sexual abuse on our children by priests.”

Guidry will be placed on house arrest with an ankle monitor while on bond, and the court has also instructed him to not make contact with the victim.

Tommy Guilbeau, a defense attorney that is not involved in the case, said while it’s “highly unusual” for a felon convicted of child molestation to be on house arrest, not releasing them at this time would be “condemning them to die in a petri dish of COVID-19.”

The victim’s parents and siblings told the court last year that the abuse caused chaos and pain in their family. The family declined to comment to KATC-TV due to a gag order.

The AP does not usually name victims of sexual assault.
