Good morning to all nairalanders, I am in serious need of a job either in a pharmacy or hospital, so someone said I should update my CV, I did that yesterday and gave it to her to help me find a job only for her to tell me that I can't get a job with the c.v, am confused because someone said the c.v is good.

Since they’re past experiences, you should’ve written the responsibilities in past tense. And your career objective isn’t that good

She said I should've write my personal data one after another like
Surname
Other names
Date of birth etc,
I don't know if it is necessary one must outline them in that form, thanks.

Foremost the only personal data you need after your name (first name should come before the last name) is your date of birth (which you can omit if it doesn’t favor you) & you should signify your gender as well. Also arrange your experiences from the recent/present to the previous just like someone pointed out before. Most importantly you need to change that career objective

Look at your hobbies, the teaching is not correct and make it more professional, instead of making friends, I think you can use MEETING PEOPLE

Many vital things are missing, coupled with the arrangement. Just go to this site www. resume. com (remove the space) fill in your details and print your c.v.

Heyy!
I'd advice you to either:
1) Employ the services of a professional CV writer. These guys charge for resume, cover letter and other things. If you don't have enough cash, then

2) Use Zety online resume builder. I recommend ZETY 100%. It's probably the best online resume builder. Give it a try, you'd be impressed. But you pay about $4 or so to download the final CV.
You download the soft copy and print it anywhere.
Also, please have a soft copy of your CV.
Do NOT SCAN AND SAVE AS A JPEG FILE!
Your CV might not be appealing to some high class HR personnel.

Cheers!
