Two policemen were killed today in Oraifite in Anambra State by suspected IPOB members.

According to report, 4 IPOB members were shot dead by policemen.

In retaliation, IPOB members killed two policemen and set their van ablaze.

Another report has it that the policemen attempted a failed arrest due to a brutal fight which broke out on Saturday after a burial in the area.

The only comfirmed casualties are the two burnt officers.

They were killed in the Ibolo axis of Nkwo to Nkwo Road, Oraifite, after a failed attempt to arrest some IPOB members who were in Barr. Ifeanyi Ejiofor's country home(Urudunu, Ifite Oraifite)... As they were driving to (probably) Oraififite Area Command Headquarters, in Isingwu Oraifite, in a bid to escape the imminent danger, the IPOB boys caught them. Some of the officers successfully escaped. Unfortunately, two were caught.
