probably too much competition in your state of origin. may there are many people with over 4.01 and first class in your state

Maybe there is too much competition in ur state or some other things we don't know. Though I know of a person who finished with 2.1 from Northern state that wasn't invited in his first attempt, but he tried the following year and he got the MSc award and was even later awarded PhD scholarship by same PTDF. Life is all about trying.

Pls if I’m to get a reference letter for this program, who should it be addressed to as my undergraduate lecturers insists on them addressing it to a recipient and they can’t do “TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN”

The idea was DAAD were supposed to be part of the interview that was the reason all German applicants were told to select abuja. but they are not coming anymore so choose a center close to you please.

At the first advert, it was stated that those who choose Schools in Germany to select Abuja, now they are giving chances to choose another centre, will it be wise to change centre or stick with the Abuja choice.

sorry dear...i also missed out on the Nnpc recruitment... It was heart wrecking but God knows the best... I moved on as fast as i could and i believe it'd be best you do the same...

I applied for this during 2018 I think, didn't get it, went on to do my MSc in Nigeria, wanted to apply this time again, but didn't feel like losing #500 grin maybe I should apply for PHD next time....but I hate research, Goodluck, remember na 2~3 per state grin

I can relate to this experience my sister. Seeking for the likes of these opportunities almost shattered my hope of attaining to anything worthwhile. But I assure you that we all have our own time to shine. Just keep doing your best and trusting God. I have a litany of failed attempts but it all ended in praise in 2018 after about 6 years of endless struggle. Better opportunities lie ahead, NERVER SAY NEVER!
