Lionel Messi scored a hat-trick on Saturday night, barely one week he was crowned the world's best player as Barcelona eased to a 5-2 home win over Real Mallorca and reclaimed top spot in LaLiga.

Messi broke Cristiano Ronaldo’s La Liga record as he scored his 35th hat-trick in the competition at the Camp Nou, The pair were tied on 34 however Messi netted three against RCD Mallorca on Saturday to surpass his rival.
