It's done through the patents and designs office of the ministry of trade and investment in Abuja.

U need to file an application along with your specifications and claims and any relevant drawings.
It can be concluded in about 2-4 months. There are a number of intricacies involved to do it right

If you want to proceed kindly send me a DM. Successdude

I had no idea one could approach this in Nigeria. Do they have an operational website?

It can be done in Nigeria but note that patents are territorial in nature. So when u register in one country your protection is limited to that country. There are exceptions to that general rule though.

not true about the accredited agent part. Agents are used cos not everybody can go and file in Abuja personally
