I don’t know if you have noticed the process with Muslims and scientific discoveries.

This is the process, that usually happens. Scientists make a discovery and Muslim scholars rush to their Quran and try to link, in the most abstract way possible, the discovery to the Quran. They are merely working backwards. They already have the answer, the discovery. Now all that is left to do is just claim that it was written in the Quran 1400 years ago and every Muslim will believe it.

Take for instance a few years ago the discovery of gravitational waves.

Quran 52:9

“On the Day the heaven will sway with circular motion”


And here we have another thing when we are talking about these miracles.

Here is the official translation for this verse, as seen above.

In the source below what this site translated it to is this:

“On the Day when the heaven vibrates in waves.”


See the difference? They have just changed the translation to fit their narrative.

What other “miracles” do we have?

We have embryology.

Quran 86:6–7

“He was created from a fluid, ejected, Emerging from between the backbone and the ribs.“

The ancient Greek anatomist, Herophilus born in 335BC, after dissecting various human samples, detailed digestive system, respiratory system and of course reproductive system. He wrote quite extensively about these processes. He was the first person to say that spermatozoon which is commonly referred as sperm, is produced in the testes of a male. This very word spermatozoon is a Greek word for seed. Just like Muhammad borrowed Greek knowledge when it came to saying the moon is a reflected light (originally discovered by Anaxagoras), Muhammad came up with his own idea that sperm is produced between a backbone and ribs.



Another famous miracle is Mohammed splitting the moon in two.

Quran 54:1–2

“The Hour has come near, and the moon has split [in two]. And if they see a miracle, they turn away and say, Passing magic."

Explain to me how this works. If the moon was split in two it would mean, more or less, that everyone on Earth could see it at almost the same time. This is quite the extraordinary event and it would be reasonable to assume that various cultures across the globe would have written about it. Nowhere, but the Quran, do we find the story of how the moon was split in two. Why is that?

There are some attempts of an explanation, that are really poor. Usually they refer to lunar ridges.
