Let me come from the perspective that it is possible to win, though it might take time. You will need to look through the thread again, it is possible to get a point or two that could assist. Just go through it with a clear mind. I wish the company greater heights and may God restore that which is yours. 1 Like |

Cvesta:No sir. He who wears the shoes know where it pinches sir. Sincerely, we would gladly exchange places with you sir. This is a deeply entrenched and strongly notorious corporate culture we are up against sir. The big brand steals your IP and when you ask to be paid, they refuse and dare you to go to court. And if you take it to social media, they kill you with paid social media influencers and trolls and use the mainstream media to stop your news from going out. Thank God for nairaland and Saharareporters. We didn't decieve ourselves by thinking it would be EASY. We will remain resolute until we get paid. The more First Bank Plc hurts us after using our intellectual property we created for their 125th Anniversary behind us and still not paid us, the more hot coals they pile on themselves and their people.

xtremecr8:Let me start by saying I hate first bank. They're probably the most useless bank in Nigeria with frustrating customer service. With that aside, I think the dude you replied with this comment asked some important questions, maybe you should answer them? I also think you should consider going to court unless you prefer paying Séúñ for non-stop adverts. I always see your advert on Nairaland front page, FBN don suffer for your hand. |

Please kindly watch the interview sir. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8RKuP3nzXew We are wearing the shoes and suffering but should not write about it That's akin to beating us and still asking us not to cry. With the amount of suffering FBN has inflicted and still inflicting on us as a small brand ,we will cry sir. We are not on an academic exercise or kidding about on how badly we have been brought to our knees, we have suffered and still suffering from the way FBN ill treated us. The people who used our design behind us for FBN on behalf of FBN are still in FBN recieving their salaries and bonuses yet we have recieved no single apology from FBN,no compensation to us and FBN has not sanctioned the people who used their privileged position in FBN to cheat us out of our sweat and labour.

kokomaster3d: Its either you have never run a business or you are a paid commentator. Do you know how many times we go to big companies to sell, they say "do a Proof of Concept (PoC) or sample" and we run to get it done and we do this in trust. If as a small business you start to ask for contracts, they would either tell u to get lost or never even respond. As a small business, you have to do work without even a contract and this usually happens when dealing with the big brands. I wouldnt put such trust in a small sized company like mine. I have even lost business to Fidelity because I was asking for us to sign an NDA. ordinary NDA! 5 Likes |

We were just informed by Saharareporters now that their economic interest through youtube and their altruistic decision to assist us in this campaign has been attacked and Google has temporarily suspended the video of our interview from being viewed by Nigerians resident within Nigeria. However, we got the report from our well wishers that they can still view our interview conducted by Saharareporters overseas. This is what we have been saying since about how big brands ride roughshod on small brands. Now it's sahareporters that is being attacked for standing with us. Please lend your voice here on Facebook as Saharareporters have vowed to remain as the voice of the oppressed by uploading same video here for view. https://www.facebook.com/ReportYourself/videos/723288038412109/?sfnsn=scwspwa&d=w&vh=e&extid=9rN62wiqMoycKzDD&d=w&vh=e We worked hard to create that logo and deserve to be paid. FBN is still allowing the same officials who used the instrument of a 125 year old bank to cheat us by using our intellectual property behind us and not paying us to persist in using the bank resources to bully us and attack the economic interest of those supporting us.

The same people who used our intellectual property behind us on behalf of First Bank for First Bank Plc are using their privileged offices and resources of the bank to attack us and the economic interest of Saharareporters that gave us a platform to be heard when the mainstream media avoided our plea like a plaque.

xtremecr8: Great. Breketefamily does not look at your resources. Just write your complaints and include photocopies of documents dealings and that's all. If you've held on for more than one year, at least do it and be sure that when you become weak, a sudden hope will come. I pray God strengthens you though... The money First bank is using to fight back could actually have been used to pay this company their money. One reason I will never use such useless archaic bank with cruel managers willing to rip you off. I can only advise you dont give up on this fight. Take this fight to twitter. Many people are online during this pandemic. Tweet at activist, their board members, executive directors, Presidency, premium times. Ministers, local and international media. Etc. And asking for retweet. They will invite you for negotiations. You can't fight this on nairaland. You don't have much time. 3 Likes |

SuPeRq:Given, he made some tweets about the issue on Twitter and did some of the things you suggested. But I keep wondering why he is not pushing it aggressively on Twitter instead of Nairaland. Twitter is the best place for this kind of fight really. Op make another tweet starting with "it doesn't take more than 2s to retweet" and go straight to the point like you did in your Nairaland ad banner, that is "First Bank pay us for designing your 125th anniversary logo". Your campaign hashtag should have "FirstBank" in it to draw more attention instantly, not FBN. Something like #FirstBankPayUsForYour125thLogo. Your campaign hashtag should be in your first tweet. And include some trending hashtags/keywords. Your not going straight to the point would have contributed to that thread you created not getting enough engagement, someone pointed this out under your thread. That your case is not trending because people don't actually understand your tweet, you need to go straight to the point, that beautiful writeup you did there should come way way under. When your story is finally trending, Nairaland will no longer do shakara for you and quickly move this thread to frontpage. And share the link aggressively under popular tweets, under tweets of celebrities and see the magic. I see people do this with a lot of results and free for that matter. Nobody will see your case and will not be moved to retweet. Keep sharing the link and don't stop, you can get someone to help you. What pains me the most is the money you are burning on ads, and it's not as if you are doing it for advertising your business with the aim of getting more customers. Only someone who has ran ads can relate firsthand about the cost. Just like some people can't relate firsthand with the value of services rendered in the creative industry, simply because it's not tangible, you stated this in your SaharaReporters interview. With all the money you've spent and this thread has just 27697 views (actual clicks on your banner + organic reach), that's not good enough to be frank. You should actually mention those handles you tagged in your previous thread in your new thread, not just tagging them. Then, to get more engagement, more impressions or even trend the issue, you can engage the services of small influencers, they can be just as effective if not more than big influencers. And don't charge much, I can recommend some. Forget about the big influencers, you don't need them. A study showed that using small influencers is more beneficial than using big influencers. And a company manager attested to the study, that when his company was engaging big influencers, they didn't get much results but when they used smaller influencers, they got value for their money. You can make the whole thing a sizeable Twitter thread. 3 Likes |
