Do not fear to always ask questions. Everybody you come across in the airport was once a JJC like you. I wish you a safe journey in advance. 1 Like |

daprojectbaby: The error is encountered because the airline has not open the online checking for you flight. Normally, online checking is open 24 hours to your flight departure. 1 Like 1 Share |

Haha! Aaa!! Memories. Hello there, there's nothing to be scared of. Just print out your ticket and when you get to the airport, while checking-in, you'll be given a boarding pass that contains your airline model number, time for departure and seat number. Now, the seat is assigned a number and an alphabet, depending on the arrangement. For a four-row seat arrangement, you either have the window or aisle seat. A and D are assigned the window and B and C, the aisle. If a six-row seat arrangement, A and F, window, C and D, aisle and B and E sandwiched between other seats; if 12-row ie 4 by 4 by 4, A and L, window, D, E, H, I are aisle seats. So, if you are say, 19A, it means your seat number is on row 19, column A (window). Alternatively, you can ask the air hostess to show you. Do not have any liquid on-board with you (body spray, perfumes, body lotions etc.) because it may be seized while onboard, instead you check them in. This prolly defers with airlines but I recall my body lotion (Jergens) seized at Kigali Airport, enroute Kenya because I had it with me in my bag but my body spray and perfume weren't seized because they were checked-in into the 'boot' of the airplane. Once you have had your boarding pass, don't bother with the immigration officers at the airport asking for money even if they try to delay you. They'll only ask you some questions and add a seal to your passport when you are leaving for the departure lounge. Oh, if you can, get to the Airport at least two hours before departure. Not because it is your first time and you are so excited, but for the fact that you cannot predict traffic build up. If you are carrying foodstuff, there's a place where you'll be given a quarantined report of the foodstuff you're carrying to be presented at arrival. I paid N2000 then for the report after the immigration officers checked the bag. You can also use nylon to wrap your bag (N1000/bag) if you wish. daprojectbaby: 5 Likes 2 Shares |
