People have been using drugs ever since they started trying to relieve pain or get away from problems. However, drugs have indeed been widely used since the early 1960s. Before that, they were rare. In one decade, they spread throughout the world.

When we say “drugs,” we mean tranquilizers, opium, cocaine, marijuana, peyote, amphetamines (these are just some of them), as well as gifts from psychiatrists to humanity - LSD. This also includes drugs used in medicine. There are thousands of trade and colloquial names. Alcohol is also a drug.

It is believed that drugs work wonders, but in reality they destroy a person.

Problems caused by drugs do not disappear when a person stops using them. The accumulated consequences of their impact seriously undermine health - both physical and mental. Even those who have not been taking drugs for many years have periods of lack of interest in everything. Drugs can impair a person’s ability to focus, work, study, in a word, they can ruin his life.

Nevertheless, although the dangers and harms of drug use are obvious and there is a large, ever-growing number of documented evidence of this, people still continue to take drugs.

Why?
