Cyprus is one of the many breath-taking islands in the second largest continent of Europe. While Cyprus is known for its tourist attraction, it is also considered as a gateway for higher education for international students. Cyprus invests a huge chunk of its overall budget in enhancing public education, ranking at position six worldwide. Educational institutions invest a major fund in infrastructures like libraries, mess halls and international student assistance offices.

Cyprian universities deliver an excellent education in the English language at tuition fees affordable to every pocket. Not just that, students get a chance to learn foreign languages. Least crime rates and less population make Cyprus a safe city to live in. So, an international student has umpteen reasons to study in Cyprus.

Lower tuition fees and cost of living:
As compared to many other European countries, degree programme fee is much lower lying in the range of 3500 to 10,000 Euros for undergraduate courses while post-graduate courses cost up to 20,000 Euros at maximum. The tuition cost is low but the quality of education that is delivered is not compromised. Many Cyprus universities offer subsidies which cut down education fee. The minimum living expenses in Cyprus is Euros 7000 per year.

Accommodation:
All the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay are provided by the institution itself on ‘first come, first serve’ basis. Students can easily find accommodation with the help of student associations. Some universities even provide in-campus dormitories, mess-halls with all other amenities. The monthly accommodation charge is 150 Euros at the most. Apartments and houses are also available on rent at cheaper price and spacious enough to be shared among four or more people.
