some do pay batches by batches, some will share it according to the maximum potential pay per day or week e.g a bookie with 100 million payout per day would settle the tickets with different games, let's say different tickets win 30 million, now 70 million is left, and a WhatsApp group of 250 people pick the same kind of game and 1 person is winning N500k, that makes over 100 million for the 250 people, the amount would be split or shared among them. Everybody wins less than N500k because of that. Some bookie will pay some, keep the others pending till they find all etc. However the chance of this happening is very very low
