what a waste of personality. sometimes one has to question the mental state of another person. how can a cleric with all the basic education and religious education in addition see holiday as the problem in nigeria... if it's possible let d govt give them 2yrs holiday, it doesn't concern anybody. so all the killings, kidnaps, hate speeches and d rest of all social vices done by his religious group can be overlooked, but no... holiday is his problem. in fact i am pleading with the govt to give them 3 months holiday, it doesn't change the cost of living or price of garri.. because it's such an unimportant thing

This cleric clearing needs to be schooled. How is New Year holiday a Christian Holiday? What ties does it have to Christianity?
Coming up with this in response to CANs allegation of Christians being persecuted is very disappointing, coming from a supposed scholar.
Aren't public holidays work free days for both Christmas, Moslems, Traditional worshippers and even Atheists?

My comments: 1st January as new year is just a Gregorian calendar thing which most of the world adapted. It has nothing to do with being a Christian. Christians remember Christ's birth during Christmas, and His death at Easter. Abeg, what special thing do Christians celebrate on 1st January? Are Christians the only ones that entered the calendar New Year?

I think MURIC should do something more productive with their media time than this endless yearly debate of which religion has the highest number of public. Nigeria has more challenging issues than this

Please can this morron Prof stop using 2020 in writing date since is Christian holiday or can he stop wearing suit and necktie since the same people who brought calender or who are celebrating new year are the inventor of suit, tie and shoe he is putting on.
