Hi everybody, I´ve been reading "Purple Hibiscus" by Chimamanda N. Adichie but not being Nigerian I have problems understanding some expressions and can´t find them on the internet. Could you please help me?
These are: anara, ogu (plant), azu (animal), ngwo-ngwo.
Also ochiri bird is unknown for the internet,

These are: anara, ogu (plant), azu
(animal), ngwo-ngwo.


Anara = garden egg.
Ogu/ugu = pumpkin leaf
Azu = fish
Ngwo-ngwo = african salad(a sorta local delicacy).
