In a letter filed with the Nigerian Stock Exchange, MTN said the government had decided to drop its case and refer the issue to tax and customs authorities "with a view to resolving contentious issues". Weird I guess the FG didnt feel they could win case. Maybe they just settle for a few million. If that happens its a win for everyone. Why bother with the suit if they could just refer it tax and customs to begin with? 5 Likes |

Buhari shortsighted fight against MTN made Nigeria the overall loser without MTN losing anything . See below what this short sightedness cost Nigeria . We lost the Nigerian CEOship of MTN Nigeria and many other senior posts . 1 .100s of Local SMEs MTN patronised lost patronage and billions of Naira in revenue 2 We lost Project fame that helped move a lot of Nigerians to fame. E.g Inyanya , praise . 3 We lost the sponsorship of Who wants to be a millionaire which supported a lot of small Nigerian businesses from studio owners to make up artist and even Frank Edoho has been broke and unemployed since then . 4 Our Financial system lost over 20 billion dollars in capital flight as MTN and Etisalat moved out their capital overnight to save it from Buhari threats . 5 Caused us a loss of FDI said to be in range of about 15 billion dollars as no investor felt Nigeria was a safe investment again to invest as a result of what happened to Mtn 6 MTN subscribers in Nigeria were forced to pay for the 300 million dollars Buhari Govt finally milked them of. Buhari is very shortsighted in all his approach to governance and can only make things worse with his style of leadership .. 113 Likes 13 Shares |

These people are totally useless. They will never encourage Nigerian investments like Innoson etc. But will always let foreign companies exploit Nigerians like DSTV, MTN etc. I'm still wondering what offence I committed in heaven to be punished by being assigned to Nigeria. 16 Likes 1 Share |

In 2015, the communications regulator handed MTN a $5.2 billion fine reut.rs/36IFw61 for failing to disconnect unregistered SIM cards. MTN eventually reached a deal in which the fine was cut to $1 billion. MTN has the money to pay now. They make the largest profit in our country. And it is not as if their service is top notch. WHY the revoke?! 2 Likes 3 Shares |

This Attorney General needs to be investigated. He features in corruption cases . Maina, Abacha loot etc In my opinion after the cabal, he is the most corrupt official of this present government. Hope all the loot and shares are recovered one day. 9 Likes |

Kyari's hand and Malami's voice. It has been in the news for for than 2 years that MTN have "settled" our "Prime Minister" Abba Baba and the case would be withdrawn from Court at the appropriate time. 9 Likes |

Was it not on this case that a whopping #500m was paid to the cabal by Mtn in 2017? This is long overdue. |
