Islam: The Rights Of The Woman, Are The Brothers Oppressed?: Lol by tbaba1234: 9:19am On Dec 05, 2010 |
Salam Aleikum, Examining the rights of women in islam, First, the muslim women do not need to adopt the names of their husbands, In fact they are supposed to keep their father's name. Also, whilst women can work, everything they earn is for themselves, They can contribute to the home if they want A woman inheritance is for her alone, she can use it for herself alone whilst a brother is expected to take care of his wives, family, relatives and everyone, (sob, sob) A woman gets equal rewards for just sitting at home and taking care of her family. In Islam, men and women are created equal as human beings though obviously not identical. Throughout the Qur'an, it is repeated over and over that men and women are created as companions on earth to complement and comfort one another. They are both held accountable for their deeds, individually. Both are rewarded or punished equally for their deeds. Alhamdulilah Masalam |

Pregnancy, child-upbringing, maintenance of the home are very huge tasks for the woman. these are much more demanding than the job of the man to give financial support to the family. No one is opressed. Allah in His wisdom has done the division of labour in the best ways. No one should complain. |
