 A bride whose brother is a notorious cartel leader was assassinated at her own wedding and her husband-to-be, who is another high ranking gangster was abducted when a rival gang attacked them in church. Karem Lizbeth Yépez Ortiz was reportedly standing on the altar with her soon-to-be-husband, known as ‘El Calamardo,’ at the Our Lady of San Juan church when the gunmen opened fire on her as the mass was about to conclude on Saturday afternoon.
