The Niger Delta, troubled NE and middle belt will likely explode in conflict this year. A surge in oil prices and continued wanton neglect and marginalization of the Niger Delta plus other stupid bigoted policies against the region will most likely see to a resurgence of militant groups squaring of with the federal govt. The NE will definitely see a spike in Boko madness as more arms and ammunition from the soon to commence outright civil war in Libya - pitching ISIS to the center of the conflict between the UN recognized govt in Tripoli backed by EU/UN/Saudis/Israel against General Khalifa's LNA in Benghazi. BH will be very busy this coming year as they will play an integral force in that conflict siding the Saudi backed faction and will benefit from a huge arms dump. The middle belt will feel the brunt this year as Miyetti will descend on the region to register their displeasure in being deported out of the entire south all thanks to Governor Makinde's Amotekun.  |
