the sea level will rise and the part of the lagoon or sea that have been converted to land will be occupied by water in the nearest future..same problem Venice is facing

Lagos and Alexandria are the only African cities among 10 world cities that won't exist by 2050

Bloody liars. I witnessed this. This is just media story nothing of such happened. They came hurriedly took pictures and ran like chickens. The letters weren't even signed by anybody. Chickens.

Good one from LASG. Yeye people, dey spend half of a billion reclaiming waterfront land, spend another half to build structures on it, only for the ocean to surge one night and drag it all away and be forgotten. If you spend half of a billion on an IDPs camp in Borno, posterity will never forget you!
I don't know how this people think eh!
Pouring money inside water for fun!

What of all those landrovers along the beach coast-line moving sand very early in the morning everyday thereby reducing the natural barrier of the ocean to people living close by and exposing them to coastal flooding

Abeg make dem come Badagry,...especially the road that leads to General Hospital and extends down to the villages and towns after that point.
Dredgers had completely damaged that road and it looks more like a rugged jungle road for loggers.

You're so correct.

They need to pay a visit to MEGAMOUND ESTATE. The one somewhere between Chevron and VGC. I can't remember specifically but i recollect all of us that went visiting a family friend was amazed at how the developer has nearly converged the large body of water separating the estate and the other side. In like 10years time, flood will be a major problem in that environment and the greedy developer i hear, does not even live in that estate.
