After being sacked, council chairmen did not go to court to stop state government but they resorted to propanganda. reason is that there was court order that restrained ajimobi osiec from conducting the election but ajimobi disobeyed the court order. you cannot eat your cake and have it. council chairmen can never win the case. that is the reason why they want to use federal might.

Nigerian politicians are generally lawless. They only talk about obeying the rule of law when it favors them. Unfortunately, our courts are not helping matters. They grant all sorts of terrible injunctions and reliefs just to frustrate the rule of law from operating smoothly.

Seyi Makinde those council bosses illegally. He should also have reinstated them after the Supreme Court Judgement. However, since he is not interested in doing the right thing, the sacked chairmen and the AGF should have approached the court to get a direct judgement ordering the governor to reinstate the sacked chairmen and not attempt to forcefully take over the council.

Now that the governor has gotten a backdoor injunction against them, they will have no choice than to go back to the court and allow the case to be fully decided.
