Afenifere played no role in the founding of Amotekun, and they even attempted to discredit it.

Also, statements such as this can only fuel the suspicions of other Nigerians who view the intent behind Amotekun with a skeptical eye.

Amotekun remains one of the greatest achievements of the great Yoruba people.

One wonders how the less than 3% Fulani North would always intimidate and kill the southerners from lagos to calabar.

We the hardworking and good people of the Old Eastern Nigeria FULLY support our western brothers in the Amotekun project to protect our good peoples.

Republic in scope and nature, it kept every participant in the union reasonably satisfied and every people's sanctuary was respected!!!

The founding fathers deliberated on it for a long time (3 years) from the Independence constitution of 1960 which was hurriedly put together to chase away the colonialists!!!

We, the great igbos, though we are leaving the zoo in no time, still we have nothing against any tribe who wants to remain in the zoo. BUT, we are aware that the north and quite a few afonjas are pretty happy with the status quo!!!

Hence, we are going to have to do it the hard way!!!

Thank you. I will find and read both constitutions you mentioned. Last time i said i supported biafra my aunt's igbo husband almost tore my head off. We don't need your support. Keep it he said. So i will refrain from telling you that.

I really don’t know why anyone is arguing about Afenifere, sometimes we choose to argue over the less important thing and leave the important part of it put. Amotekun came as a result of police failure. It’s meant to secure life and properties of every Nigerian in the SouthWest. There is nothing as much as important as life of citizens and if the federal government doesn’t take that seriously the SW are taking it seriously. Imagine a president saying he is surprised that bokoharam and this bandit are still attacking. He sits in his comfort there and don’t care about us.
