Thousands of people converged at Federal University of Agriculture in the ancient city of Abeokuta to witness and celebrate the 27th convocation of the university which was held yesterday.

Former Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and incumbent President of Africa Development Bank (AfDB), Dr. Akinwumi Adesina was awarded an honorary Doctorate Degree of Science.

Meanwhile, Mrs.Sholanke Esther Odunayo Nee Odunsi (B.sc), was awarded and celebrated as FUNAAB 17/18 Overrall Best Graduating Student after having 4.85 CGPA to top other 3,223 fellow graduates.

Mrs Odunayo is a graduate in the departmentof Aquaculture & Fisheries Management, COLERM.
