The only difference between human beings and wild animals in the forest is the ability to reason.

Section 33 and 36 of the Nigerian constitution states:-

33. (1) Every person has a right to life, and no one shall be deprived intentionally of his life, save in execution of the sentence of a court in respect of a criminal offence of which he has been found guilty in Nigeria.

36. (1) In the determination of his civil rights and obligations, including any question or determination by or against any government or authority, a person shall be entitled to a fair hearing within a reasonable time by a court or other tribunal established by law and constituted in such manner as to secure its independence and impartiality.

These two sections are very clear. Only a court of law can order the execution of a person. Also, everone is entitled to a fair hearing

How can any sane person encourage or support the Police, who are supposed to uphold the law, to break the law? How can we encourage the very Police who are supposed to follow the constitution, not to follow it?

criminal are only killed in custody when cash exchange is done to hide evidence and confession from such criminal.I hope this is nt what happened because if that is the case then it means the couple were assassinated by someone who paid money for the criminals to be silenced.

Only a court of law has the right to declare who is a criminal and the appropriate punishment for such a person

If it were not for this, anybody in the Police force can declare you a criminal at any time, for whatever reason, and you will end up dead like those boys
