The president should not be afraid to sack everyone here. Its obvious nothing is working in the security sector.

It is good to thank God for everything. If these men were to be southerners by now the Emirates would have come out to say it is a ploy for ethnic cleansing and plans to kill the north. Let them bury their heads in shame that they can not secure themselves even with the huge support and funds they received.

When the southeasterners see a good product, they know and recognize it. Reason they never voted for Buhari in 2015 and in 2019. Of course, that came with a heavy price; we were treated as the 5%ters and labelled as a region that does not know how to play politics. But the southwest swum like bees and voted for Buhari massively because of the bait and carrot(Osinbade) that was dangled at them. Today, the same people are complaining and fighting for their lives. In your own judgement, which people are smarter and wiser? Some would attack me or disagree but, the truth is, Igbos do not go by sentiment, they go by the reality on ground no matter whose ox is gored.

Pls keep your fear, inferiority and paranoia for the Fulani man to yourself. SW voted rightly for Buhari. A life changing strategic rail line, expedited refinery /petrochemical/refinery, school feeding program, N power, trader moni and other things ate the gains. Agriculture is now positioned as engine of growth
Fulani herdsmen are a product if the mindless, thieving PDP era when their people forgot pro active governance and the effects of ecology on social conditions and Libyan crisis. Buhari will solve it as he always solved all the problems that OBJ, Yaradua and GEJ were too weak or corrupt to solve.

SE never voted for Buhari because they had spent 8 years looting the councoming.PDP and knew retribution was coming. You expected injury and you got it because your collective mind already convicted you.

He is a man who still lives in the past. he is just isn't ready for leadership in the 21st century, he is very slow in taking decision at the end very little is achieved.if he wants results he must be ready to sack at will, not recircling all these expired service chiefs,

There is no special leadership of the 21st century. That's low IQ talk. Leadership is in human space.
The service chiefs are doing well. The most innovative and inventive military in. the third world is the Nigerian military.
What Buhari is doing wrong is not bruising Nigerians enough. It is a most wicked country and someone is deceiving him about democracy and human rights.
Wicked, weak, corrupt, clannish, sentimental, self pitying and extremely selfish that is the average Nigerian.
Buhari should be applying the methods of 1983/84 and if he does not his successor would have to do it.
It is out of a cry of pain that Nigerians will change and you guys are lucky some of us are not in seats of power.

U see u referring to 1984,that's why I said he lacks the 21st century ideas,u said his service chiefs are doing their best that's by u and behari,s standard, It's only a foolish person that will continue to do same thing and expect a different result.the way he makes appointment says it all.he sure doesn't belong to modern day leadership

I advice the president to be highly diplomatic in handling these regional security networks that are springing up rapidly.

This is really a testing time for his wisdom and leadership skills. The upper chamber seems to have taken side, south west have led the way already, south east, north central, and most likely south south will definitely join suits.

He must be careful enough not to fall for this game plans. He cant afford to lose the 4 regions so fast..

......I remembered Obasanjo's wisdom in handling sharia law of zamfara back then. In his words "sharia will die a natural death" and perhaps it did!

THE WISDOM HE SHOULD USE IS RESTORE PEACE. IF THERE IS PEACE NO ONE WILL START AGGITATING FOR SETTING UP ANOTHER SECURITY OUTFIT

I hope arising from this meeting they will become proactive to tackle the menace we have on our hands instead of burying their heads in the sand.
Just a few lawless individuals have been left unhindered to unleash mayhem on our collective sensibilities for too long.
Haba just imagine the scramble for train between Kaduna and Abuja by all.. definitely that is not sustainable...the rogues must be flushed out by every means conceivable.

In my workplace if the overall boss summon an emergency meeting before the end of a quarter circle, then we're sure heads Will roll.

I expect a decisive action on the service chiefs, nigeria deserve better.

By the way, NO person from the SouthEast and just one person from the South South as well as 2 persons from the South West, whilst the rest are from the "core" north, are members of the extended National Security Council.

Am a histroy student. Nigeria has never had it so bad in terms of Nepotism and exclusion of some groups. And it is at the core of the terrible things happening in Nigeria today.

And it is amazing that people of the far North and even the SW are not seeinv anything bad here. It is even worse that the elected officials of say the SE(Govs, Senators, Ministers etc) have done nothing on such lopsidedness.

I went through the names too , they will say one Nigeria

I hv come to realize that the way we analyze issues in Naija is damn bad. Who are PDPs and who are APCs, where was Akpabio? Amaechi? Okorocha, just name them all, were they not PDP members before. A failure is a failure, and their is no excuse for that.
I remember vividly when Buhari came to power, all his excuses then was previous govt, but now, he is now singing a new song of pray for the nation.
