he is the best President so far. The one to clear all the buried problems that PDP insinuated into the Nigerian psyche. It got very bad BUT those problems will soon clear away. I think the some of the security agencies have corruption problems though.
Really!?
Better than Yaradua?
Better than OBJ?

He's even making GEJ look like better!

Senator ENYINANYA ABARIBE hard knock in the senate on the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari has pushed him to a tight corner.

He no choice put to hold security meetings with service chiefs.

But those service chiefs are snakes in a green grass.

They are party to the crisis.

They are financial beneficiary to the insecurity crisis that is wrecking Nigeria.

When the southeasterners see a good product, they know and recognize it. Reason they never voted for Buhari in 2015 and in 2019. Of course, that came with a heavy price; we were treated as the 5%ters and labelled as a region that does not know how to play politics. But the southwest swum like bees and voted for Buhari massively because of the bait and carrot(Osinbade) that was dangled at them. Today, the same people are complaining and fighting for their lives. In your own judgement, which people are smarter and wiser? Some would attack me or disagree but, the truth is, Igbos do not go by sentiment, they go by the reality on ground no matter whose ox is gored.
the product were so good you guys voted Obasanjo over Falae in 1999,

Told you folks in 2014 that it was a big mistake, so what do you call voting him in again last year...

It is clear that capacity is lacking at the very top. Our problems require cerebral solutions, new ways of thinking, new strategies...

I was telling a friend in Portharcourt a few days ago concerning security, that success in creating a secure country is not measured by more checkpoints, more policemen riding shotgun with the rich or more AK's on the streets but exactly the opposite.

Security means freedom of movement 24/7, freedom to conduct business or leisure in any part of the country, freedom from fear of crime... or will you give each tourist or businessman who comes to Nigeria MOPOL escort...?

We must recognise that there are serious structural issues bedevelling this country that simoly cannot be solved by any leader no matter how well meaning until we all sit down and discuss Nigeria first.

I make bold to say this to anyone who cares: President Buhari cannot solve the security problem or any other fundemental question facing Nigeria because he simply does not have the tools to do this.

So change the service chiefs 100 times, place checkpoints at intervals of every linear metre along the streets and highways even if you give every citizen of this country a police guard, yes recruit 180 million policemen, as long as no two Nigerians agree on how they choose to live together as fellow citizens, insecurity will continue to thrive.... No be curse.

Any leader that seeks to succeed in a complex country like Nigeria must first seek to get all her ducks in line, all the citizens he or she leads operating to the maximum patriotic levels possible. And this is only possible when every citizen is signed up to the Nigerian project willingly.

Security simply means that the love I have for my fellow citizen and the solidarity I share with him is far stronger than any other prejudice of race, class, religion, wealth, or any other demographic.

That is called a 'POSITIVE STATE OF THE NATION'.

Ain't it strange and funny, that no Conehead,no sophisticated moraan,no zomB have been saying anything concerning those service chiefs despite the fact that insecurity have escalated over the years!!!!

The noise makers never gave late Azazi breathing space when he was NSA. It was so much Gej had to sack him.
Dasuki took and embezzled monies but still, the coneheaded structures never uttered a word against him!!!!

Pls keep your fear, inferiority and paranoia for the Fulani man to yourself. SW voted rightly for Buhari. A life changing strategic rail line, expedited refinery /petrochemical/refinery, school feeding program, N power, trader moni and other things ate the gains. Agriculture is now positioned as engine of growth
Fulani herdsmen are a product if the mindless, thieving PDP era when their people forgot pro active governance and the effects of ecology on social conditions and Libyan crisis. Buhari will solve it as he always solved all the problems that OBJ, Yaradua and GEJ were too weak or corrupt to solve.

SE never voted for Buhari because they had spent 8 years looting the councoming.PDP and knew retribution was coming. You expected injury and you got it because your collective mind already convicted you.
ended up writing rubbish!!

Some of you live in a fantasy land smh....

The truth which they conveniently seek to avoid is that the more divided Nigeria is along all demographic indices the worse the security situation becomes.

A good leader will try to ensure universal liberties for every citizen, equal rights and privileges then yoi can tap into their inherent patriotism to ensure they donot consume one another but Nigeria right now is so polarised that the so called saying of my brothers keeper is for the birds.

When our leaders cry out about saboteurs, sponsors, etc it is just an admission that how they lead is incorrect. Because I can never imagine a sane man sabotaging what is good and to his own benefit. It is when society is dirty, unjust you have rats running around.

I simply cannot imagine a Japanese citizen sabotaging the Japanese economy or causing mayhem and mass murder in society. For what reason?
