Seriously I don't know whose been deceiving you guys that Imo is an oil producing state and that's why it was wrongly included among the Niger Delta states.
Even if there is oil in Imo state, the cost of drilling it is more than the resources that would be gained from it so it's all useless

I guess the best way to hide ignorance is silence. At this stage of your sorry life, you still do not know the history of crude oil exploration in the shithole called Nigeria.

I think the them IMO state is likely to include some part of oil producing state but as at then they were called IMO state before state creations
