It has always been LUTH and Teaching Hospital Ibadan that had radiotherapy machines that had hundreds of people queuing up daily for their turn for treatment.

Eko hospital came to the rescue years ago, charging high fees for radiotherapy sessions.
Many people came from outside Lagos ( those who could afford it) cos they didn't want the chaos and bureaucracy at the government hospitals.

My question is this: why can't people like Dino Melaye who wastes no time in reminding us how very wealthy he has become invest in radiotherapy machines? Why can't senators come to our rescue with provisions of this machines and still make their profits from their investments?

Why can't artist like Davido, Tiwa, Wizkid invest in hospitals?

E-Money has what it takes to invest in a radiotherapy machine, at least in his home state.

Currently, it is ONLY LUTH that has a working machine cos it was privatized last year and is very pricey. How are the poor going to survive cancer in Nigeria?

It's a question I ask myself everyday.

1 in 3 people will get cancer, the earlier individuals rise up to this truth the better for us especially as Nigerians, who has NEVER had a reliable government since I was born.

Cancer is survivable as against what people are led to believe. With well equipped hospitals, we are definitely saving the lives of Nigerians, especially those who can't boast of 3 square meals a day let alone cancer treatments.

This is medicine not logics. FYI, cancer cells can not survive a very acidic environment and a very hot environment. But can you subject human body to such condition?
What I am telling you is that, the body regulates its alkalinity by itself.
If cancer only survive in an acidic environment, by your logic, we should have more of peptic (stomach) cancer because the stomach is highly acidic with a PH of 1. And less or never pancreatic cancer because of the presence of the bicarbonate around the pancreas.
My brother even if you are given a job to sell some kind of water, on your own, research so you can defend yourself medically and not logically.

Obviously I am not the one trying to sell anything here. You are. I haven't mentioned the name of any product here, you are the one championing the merits of cancer-inducing drugs.

You are the one peddling whatever it is that you are peddling here.

I did say that if you work in the health establishment not to quote me.

I am not ready to exchange arguments on the merits or demerits of toxic cancer drugs with you.

My advice is for those who can see the irony behind trying to cure cancer with a drug that causes cancer.

My post is not for those who make a living selling these drugs.

All big Pharma does is to create drugs that is targeted at the symptoms.

This isn't pharm 101.

This is survival. Life and Death.

This is my opinion based on personal experience.

I wouldn't put my health and life in the hands of someone whose livelihood is tied to my continuous ill-health.

As you wrongly opined, this isn't about medicine, this is about logic. This is about holistic health. This is about Nature. This is about life.

Doctors peddle drugs that pharmaceutical companies make so they can get brownie points. They recommend drugs you don't actually need just to sell it out. They do guesswork with your symptoms and prescribe drugs that have horrendous side effects.

Do I trust doctors? Not exactly. And I pray I never have need of one.

Nurses? Those are sweet angels. God bless them.

Who talked about very acidic environment or hot environment? Did I mention that in my post? So why bring it up and telling us that the body can't be subjected to such? Does that make sense?




Nobody said the body doesn't regulate itself. If it does such a wonderful job, why do you fall sick then, how then do cancer cells form? Do you even know why cancer cells form? Are you even aware that everybody has cancer cells forming almost daily in their bodies and the body actually sends messages that kills them? Do you even know that cancer cells form as a result of the damage to the DNA that each cell possesses that sends a message to a cell to terminate?




Have you asked yourself if cancer cells can survive the high acidic environment in the stomach? After saying up there that cancer cells can't survive very high acidic environment, you come further down here to ask this?

I ask you again? What is the normal pH of the body system? What happens when the body consistently operates in a slightly lower pH than what is normal, enough to sustain the life of a cancer cell? Do you know what is termed as dis-ease?




Like I said earlier, you are the only one peddling cancer drugs here.

And I said in my initial post, if your take home pay is determined by how well you sell cancer drugs, don't quote me.

I guess you just couldn't help yourself and parade the limited knowledge of biology that you've got.

Go ahead and do research on the mortality rates of those who use the drugs you sell.
