A nairalander solicited a loan from another nairalander. That is not shocking. There are numerous public loan request threads and posts in this section. I sent a private loan request in confidence because I need a loan. That's the primary reason normal people ask for loans, be it publicly or privately: Because they need it. The potential creditor can choose to accept or refuse the request.

Do I regret sending a dm with a loan request? NO! I'm not naive. I understand that when I send a mail, the choice of what to do with it, is up to the recipient. Whether to ignore, respond, or use it as a meme online is not my call.

Well, it's out here now. Thanks for that. If you're reading this, you have disposable cash, and can afford to extend a loan for one month (at a very good rate for a short term loan), please hit me up. Whatever concerns you have, I'll do my best to assuage them.

The Investment/Business sub-community on Nairaland is small. My post history is public. Anyone can read my posts (and possibly glean insights from them). If you want to get a notification every time I make a post, join my queue of followers. Want to quickly identify me, I always sign off with "-Lord."

I'm productive enough to make my own bread without stealing from anyone. If I need help momentarily, I'll respectfully ask for it. I need a loan today: I'll definitely have an account surplus later this year. Change is constant.

===

PS: If you got this far, you'll notice I did not respond directly to the crusader and ensemble. That is intentional.

Why? Because my f*cks are in short supply.

Anyone who wants to help, please do. If you don't want to help, you don't have to. If you think your time is best spent circle-jerking about a private loan request, by all means, continue.

Chaka is better in my own opinion
Deposits and withdrawals are almost instant on Chaka, except for some cases where there are bank issues with transfers. With experience from friends who used etoro, if there is a plan to exit Nigerians from the Platform, there will be a cut off date, a minimum of 4 weeks notice to sell off existing stock.
With the current challenge they have with SEC, it not advisable.

Why didn't you solicit on this platform, in the first place? The fact that you made it private is questionable. Not just private but also targeted those who have exposed a sizable amount of their investment portfolio here.

No reasonable savvy investor would like this your soliciting post, so it's suffice to say you used your three other scamming monikers to like your post. You are a scammer and no one here is going to give you a dime. If you doubt me, show us proof of someone who gave you a loan after you emailed them. I doubt anyone is that stupid to throw away hard earned money. Leave this page for investors and stop entering people's dms.

The good thing is anyone who does their due diligence and searches for LordAdam16 scam will come across these posts and be sufficiently warned.

He is busy using bold face, grammar and alternate ids to appear genuine undecided Mr LordScam16, you are nothing but a cheap scammer in case no one has told you. I see posts on various platforms asking people to buy bonds in North America. My advise is to stay far away from foreign bonds right now. Bonds are too expensive at the moment because of lower interest rates. My 2 cents

There's a word for privately reaching out, it is called "discretion." It happens tens of millions of times a day everywhere on the web.

All I did was make a loan request. That, as I repeat for the umpteenth time, anyone has the choice to accept or refuse. Job seekers do not only use the front desk. They often also reach out to prospective employers privately or via informal/third party avenues.

The few I contact generally empathize or do not respond. Most recognize my moniker. Case in point, see attached.

I thanked him for his kind consideration and wished him the best. There is nothing complicated or untoward about it. You may have your reservations, I'll give you that, but that is personal.

SCIENTIFIC STOCK PICKS
I do not like to be under pressure, especially at a time when there is some uncertainty in the market, I want to go for the best trades only. This week, I will buy a stock like GPRO without fear.

We want to empower humanity in our own small way, you can now join our whatsapp group for free 0 8 1 1 5 1 3 6 7 1 9. The key word this week is “Low Risk Entry”. We are giving these stocks to our present subscribers GPRO, VXRT; if you join our whatsapp we are giving at least 2 stocks more. Let us chop together and stay together. “One love”

On a final note we should keep ourselves informed when Chaka or Trove add these new equities we are looking for. I want to inform the group that EBON and SOS are now in both apps. These stocks look promising but may need to wait to buy on pullback, technically in the immediate timeframe SOS looks the better of the 2. On our stress test, chaka is good (I don't know what just changed their fortune recently). For Trove we still pissed off with their service, no doubt they are a small company at the moment (so don't expect too much from them) , but due to few options, we use them for our low priority trades. You need to see visit our Twitter page, over 300 followers and increasing everyday is telling us that we are adding value!!!

An option is a contract that allows (but doesn't require) an investor to buy or sell an underlying instrument like a stock, ETF or even index at a predetermined price over a certain period of time.

Buying and selling options are done on the options market, which trades contracts based on securities. Buying an option that allows you to buy shares at a later time is called a "call option," whereas buying an option that allows you to sell shares at a later time is called a "put option."

DISCLAIMER: Futures, stocks and options trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for every investor. This is educational material ONLY and not advice.

If the stock market hasn’t been exciting enough for you lately, rest assured! This year is expected to be chock full of new public offerings, many of them game-changers.

“Black holes” created by technologically enabled innovations could be set to swallow up companies not evolving fast enough, or not keeping up with the record-breaking pace of change and exponential growth of competitors, former economist and famed investor Cathie Wood recently cautioned.

The list suggests the market is about to see a battle between the ‘change’ or the ‘change-nots’.

Though the winners will be obvious with hindsight, in the here and now, the choice between new and old investment opportunities is getting more difficult as we reevaluate the sustainability of dividends and business models with the old guard. All of this, while new business models are still less proven, and average retail investors still tend to get a bad deal on IPO day. Remember, investing is a marathon, not a sprint.

Reported by Morning Star

IPO to watch out for n 2021
Agtech & Food tech (Instacart, Zomato and Agriforce)
Cloud tech ( Gitlab % Cloudbee)
Retail wealth and Wellness Tech (Oscar, Tonal & Tempus Lab)
