Ok, on what ground should he be sacked sir. You better accept your fate, move on and get prepared for the next election. APC will never release that state, not this time round.

Buhari reveals how APC won Osun governorship with ‘remote control’

President Muhammadu Buhari, yesterday, while appealing to traditional rulers in Osun State to support his reelection to enable his administration consolidate on its achievements, revealed that APC was able to win the state’s governorship election held months back with the aid of remove control.

Buhari, who failed to provide details of what he meant by remote control, said: “I know how much trouble we had in the last election here. I know by remote control through so many sources how we managed to maintain the party (APC) in power in this state.”

Go and study the judgement of Ngige and Peter obi with that of Ihedioha vs uzodinma you will see then that the difference is clear and forget about all this people shouting it has been done before, never have the supreme Court reversed an unanimous decision if they do that means they are all clueless is it not the same Constitution they used in arriving at there conclusion this lawyers just want to rip ihedioha off his loot

]APC govt magic , from 4th to 1st

Even when the numbers didn't add up

The fact remains that Hope will do far better than Emeka

That's how Anambra got their break through , Ngige did his best to convince Anambra people , which is almost the same position Hope is now.

Emeka might got his mandate back later when Hope might have pushed to state to a better direction , cos Emeka was clueless, he started poorly !!! [/quote]

CAN THIS HAPPEN IN NIGERIA?
Ghanaian former Republican President Dr Jerry Rawlings has revealed that the Malawian Constitutional Court judges refused a USS$20 Million bribe which he claimed was awarded to the judges for them to quash the case in favour of incumbent President Peter Mutarika.
In a 500 paged judgement delivered for more than 10 hours, the constitutional court judges came to the conclusion the May 21, 2019 General Elections were null and void and further asked the Malawi Electoral Commission to organise fresh elections within 150 days from the declaration.

Rawlings congratulated the independent manner in which the decision was arrived at by the Malawian Concourt

The former Ghanaian head of state said this landmark judgement has proven that Malawi is indeed governed by rule of law.
“I have been following the elections case in Malawi. Once again, this tiny Southern African country has proven to the whole world that it is governed by rule of law. A few minutes ago, the Court has nullified last years presidential elections.
You may argue with me that such similar nullification has occured before in Kenya. But I challenge that the Malawi case is unprecedented” he said;
“There were bribery allegations. The Judges stood for the truth and could not accept any money from any politician. We are told that a sum of about US$20 million was offered to the Judges but they refused and decided to uphold the rule of law. If that same money was given to some Nigerian Judges, they would have sold the whole country, including selling Nigerians abroad. But the Malawian Judges stood firm on the truth.

I admire the Malawi Judiciary which stands for the truth. As Ghanaians, there is a lot we can learn from the Malawi experience.
Congratulations to the people of Malawi”

Giant of Africa in corruption & nepotism, how market? Can this be said of our judiciary? Ihedioha better to save the small change way u still get because the last hope of the common man is now just an arm of the ruling party!

It was a sham judgement no doubt. And I totally agree, the Hope guy would do a far better job than Emeka. But this is the later's mandate and should be given back unconditionally.

The most they will do is to order a rerun in those units. With APC in control of everything in this country, they will win by fire by force.

The 60 day window for the Supreme Court to dispense of the Imo gubernatorial election petition has already elapsed. The Court will just tell them so on the day it decides on the matter.

They did a very bad infact a worstest job at the supreme Court. Since there is no return leg for supreme Court hearing, Ihedioha and co will continue to lick their wounds.
You are not making sense....

I am sure that you are not privy to the submissions canvassed by Ihedioha's legal team.

You can hire one million Gani Fawehinmis but if the judge is biased or has a vested interest, he would deploy legal technicalities to vapourize your case/argument.

I would rather you stick to what you have a clue about...

That was not among the prayers in the petition or the appeal.

Hope's petition was that since the results from the 388 polling units where he won was not cancelled by INEC, the votes must be added. He proved beyond doubt that the results were not cancelled by INEC and neither was it cancelled by the tribunal. Therefore INEC was wrong not include them in form EC8B.

Court cannot grant you what you didn't ask for.

Are you privy to how many justices there are at the supreme Court. They are 16 in number and Even if you hire a million Gani fawehimi to upturn the judgement in your favour. It will take time except all justices have been compromised.

So why did PDP win the rerun recently held in the same Hope’s “stronghold” where he got 99.99% of the votes with 100+% voter turnouts! At least u concede that Ihedioha will win Mbaise any day

Look, in all elections there are errors and shenanigans and most people try to “rig” to some extent. That’s why a premium is placed on whatever is declared as the result after all that. And that’s why the bar for removing an incumbent is high.
After all the games and maneuverings, Ihedioha was declared the winner, and Hope finished
FOURTH

That’s the baseline and u don’t lightly change that, u don’t change that through some highly questionable childish documents!

The SC did not examine Hope’s documents neither did they do any tabulation AT ALL. They accepted his figures and tabulations without examination or interrogation.

U don’t remove an incumbent based on such, no matter how he was elected.

Consider the Uzodinma documents they relied on to replace an 8-month incumbent governor with a FOURTH place finisher: not only were they full of ridiculous numbers, they were also incomplete, smudgy, full of alterations, signed only by APC, and showed results for only APC and PDP out of 70 parties!

YOU DON’T REPLACE AN INCUMBENT BY ACCEPTING CLEARLY FRAUDULENT DOCUMENTS AND REFUSING TO TABULATE CLEARLY RIDICULOUS NUMBERS!!

Never in Nigerian judicial history (or any authentic democracy for that matter) has the SC ruled against ALL lower courts AND the election authority itself in order to immediately replace a sitting governor with a 4th-place finisher - all based on clearly questionable, uncollaborated, and unauthenticated documents supplied solely by the 4th-place finisher himself!!

Supreme Court cases set precedents that lawyers will cite ad infinitum.
Here’s the precedent set here:

A person that comes 10th can easily be declared winner and immediately replace the incumbent. All they’d have to do is present result sheets which the Supreme Court MUST accept no matter how outrageous and defective they may be, as long as no one can produce the originals!
That’s what u r supporting!

You speaking ignorantly...

There were only seven justices in the panel that adjudicated that case.

We all know the antecedents of the largely handpicked justices....

They either fell in line or their files would be dusted up by EFCC...

The judiciary here are blindingly being teleguided by Buhari so quit trying to build something on nothing...
