I have never had issues with snakes .. the tall grass should be some distance from lodgings of course

That's a good question and i guess we just spoke and i should have a clear answer so ive been doind some calculations here is the answer:

Per harvest of Brachiaria per acre you can expect 20,000 kg (20 tons) of beautiful lush fodder

So for a plot you will have 3.3 tons of fresh, high protein fodder. You can make silage or hay out of it so you can store it for long.

This figure is very feasible,,when undisturbed the Brachiaria grass almost reaches your neck in height..just amazing
