Bayelsa Political Imbroglio: Time For Jonathan To Act. by chrisxxx(m): 5:20pm On Feb 14, 2020
Former President Jonathan had before now said he was a statesman who welcomed everyone who came to seek his advice and endorsement irrespective of political divide. He demonstrated this when the then Governor-Elect Lyon paid him a courtesy visit with a strong delegation of APC members.
His party the PDP had accused him of anti-party activities which he vehemently denied. There was no doubt he had an ego and supremacy battle with Dickson which both personalities tried to deny in the open.
Here is another opportunity for Jonathan to practice what he preaches by stepping in to calm the nerves of all party divides. The APC members would listen to him as well as the PDP members. It is time for him to make peace at home. It is time to make a statement of peace where Bayelsan would see Gov. Diri first as a Bayelsan before PDP his party

The bitter truth is that Jonathan now belongs to yesterday's men of power. He is neither influential in Bayelsa nor in Nigeria

What do statesmen do?

When the purpose of a thing is unknown, abuse is inevitable.
