Very wealthy people in Lagos are very guilty of this crime. Stay under the bridge at falomo (Ikoyi) for 5 minutes and you'll count at least 5 different convoys with sirens.

I got to know the gravity of this problem when i saw an ambulance rushing someone to the hospital.

People were unwilling to give way because we are so used to hearing sirens wail.

Long story short, the ambulance had to wait in line, as it wasn't carrying any armed personnel.

Imagine how many lives have been lost as a result of this menace.
