Ibrahim the second Suitor approached the elders to appeal the result as not true reflection of his popularity in winning the love of Khadija - he claimed his supporters are civil servants who couldn't vote during the election because of work - therefore denying him the deserving victory
The elders have now nullified the last election and ordered a new election be conducted in the next 7 days
Yunusa said he would still win if the election is conducted 100 times
The certificate of return issued to Yunusa as Suitor-Elect has been withdrawn by electoral committee
