this one will wail so much in 2023 after Yoruba becomes the Next President of Nigeria... your elders sef wouldn't dare compete with a Yoruba man in 2023 because they know the failure would be so glaring they would rather run off like Ojuckwu than Face a Yoruba man in an open ballot election

Recently, Kemi Olaitan and Dr Kunle Olajide held a conversation largely on the security challenges in Nigeria.

What got my attention more is the admittance by Dr. Olajide that fulani herdsmen has no less than 1000 cells in the SW region, unleashing terror
on hapless citizens mostly Yorubas. None of these marauders has been arrested till date.

Last year, the Enugu state government shaded tears when saw the level of carnage perpetrated by these herders in Enugu state.

All these and many more instances of these two major tribes suffering in the hands of the fulanis, makes me wonder why the two tribes
cannot, for once, unit and face the herders ones and for all.

Yesterday, a video was circulated round about natives in delta being chased out of their ancestral land by the same murderous group.

Why can't the south unite. Is there a charm that has kept us from coming together as one?

If SE is attacked, Yorubas will laugh at the Igbos, If SW is attacked, Igbos will mock the Yorubas.
Are we cursed. Can't we see what is going on in Nigeria?

What the Igbos and the Yorubas do not know is that the minor tribes are looking up to them as big brothers for defence.
The urhobos, the itshekiris, the Ijaws, the Idomas, the tivs are looking up to the Igbos and the Yorubas to unify them.

We cannot be alive and see our parents enslaved in our God given land.

Igbos and Yorubas should note that united we stand and divided we fall.

If we stay together, we survive.

The charm that kept the unity or any form of union among the people of the southern Nigeria in check is Nigeria/Biafra war. The British and Northern Nigerian political elites should be given serious kudos for concocting such as charm.

Imo is APC , and that's South-east , Edo is APC and that's SouthSouth, Bayelsa also massively voted for APC, so if One State in South West goes to PDP its all Politics..

well you know nothing about National Politics and I don't blame you, for a tribe with over 30 million indigene that couldn't produce a President in 5 years or Vice in 36.. whose highest political office holder is a mere Minority leader I really don't blame you ... Power is coming back South and only the brave would be get it while the cowards cry of Marginalisation.. if North cant trust you with mere service chief they cant trust you with Power, same way Southwest can never and will never support you

This mentality will see to the complete annihilation of the south by the fulanis.
SE and SW have been surrounded. Check your forests and you will know.

Bros, if we must survive, forgiveness is key in this trying times.

Other southern Nigerians are sitting impatiently for Yari.ba to the take lead and show others that the turncoat demeanor of yesteryears has been cast away. Ndigbo are ever ready to bid Nigeria bye-bye. However this cannot be said by Yari.ba and few deluded ethnic nationalities in the southern Nigeria.

I am not surprise at you silly goofiness. I remembered Yari.ba kicked Obasanjo to curb when he was running for the presidency of Nigeria. Ndigbo adopted him and pushed him onto the presidency. It did not take long for Yari.ba to disown their political parties which had opposed the election of the Obasanjo and claimed him as their son. The Fulani had informed that they did not call certain people Yari.ba for nothing. I guess the Fulani and Hausa of the northern region knew more about the characters of certain ethnicities in the south than the most southerners.

obasanjo may have defeated ojukwu in the east but was obasanjo actually the true wish of the yorubas?

This is the character deficit the OP lamented upon. The Yari.ba did not vote for Obasanjo however the moment Obsanajo was sworn-in as the president of Nigerian, the Yari.ba disbanded all the idiotic and mushroom political parties in southwestern region of Nigeria to claim Obasanjo as the son of the soil.

Fear, fear! (Smile) Una don see Fulani with gun inside bush near your village and all of a sudden u wan befriend Igbo.

This hand of friendship should have been extended a very long time ago. You dont wait till u have a gun to your head or like u say "surrounded" before u begin to look for allies. The whole write up is true n very sound but over time Igbos have been not been shown much love here in the SW. So this call for Unity will be looked upon with suspicion by the Igbo (pls dont blame them). However, I am glad that the conversation for unity between Igbos n yorubas has begun. Better late than never.

OBJ competed against a northern candidate and won. Abiola did the same and won. You have no reason other than your myopic say so to back up your opinion.

Anybody who wrote above crap or have a mindset that produced it should never have been allowed to participate in this debate.

The Igbo are in many way already frustrated with the project called Nigeria. This anger makes them very capable of defending themselves. That said war is not a pleasant thing and as such there is a need to have a discussion about this our federation cos it's not working for everyone. If the Yoruba n Igbo begin a conversation other smaller tribes will join in. If there is unity an enemy is less likely to attack.

Thank you my brother.

The war that Junaid mohammed has been preaching will consume the Igbos and the Yorubas if these two tribes are so stupid and naive not to see
the hand writing on the wall.

The issue here is about survival. It is not about presidency.

Something is going on in Nigeria.

Why are all the security agencies headed by a section of the country?
What happened to the weaponized drone intercepted by customs.
Why are fulani herders roaming about with AK 47 guns?
How come Miyetti Allah has not been declared a terrorist organisation?

Bros, open your eyes.

The likes of Area4Area who thinks that by supporting, impunity and Fulani hegemony is a sign of showing love and care to one's country are the cause of this problems.

Abobaku, Ndigbo casted their vote for PDP which had Obasanjo as its candidate for presidency. I wonder why your master the north, to borrow from your silliness, did not impose the goofy Buhari on Ndigbo and yet gave them option to choose. To say you are very ignorant is a patented compliment.
